The Engadget Podcast, live... now!
Did something happen this week? Should we talk about it? The chat below is open, so join us at 4PM to hear all our thoughts on the biggest story of all time: the cat finally getting the cheeseburger.
P.S.- And hey, don't forget that Ustream has Android and iPhone apps if you're out and about and can't join in on the Flash-based fun below.
Update: It's over! Don't worry though, we'll have the regular podcast post up tomorrow as usual.

Nice, another Thursday Podcast. I wont have to miss it because of College now [:
@abedinthehouse m
@abedinthehouse same, exams sucks right now though
Why do I always get an error trying to connect to the chat?
@slinky317
Gah. The Flash interface sucks. I was listening on my laptop, but had to fire it up on Ustream on my iPhone because my laptop started burning my legs. I run Ubuntu on this laptop and my other laptop is a Mac.
I could listen on my Windows machine, but it's a desktop and I'm not going to sit at my desk just to listen to a podcast.
When people complain about Flash, this is the crap we're complaining about. I can't wait for it to die.
@Invid I think it's my firewall at work, actually. I think they may block the port needed for chat.
@Invid you need new hardware. it worked fine on my HP laptop
@Air Force One
Perhaps, but I'm not buying new hardware just for Flash. Everything else I do with this laptop runs fine (browsing, podcasts, image editing etc.)
If I need new hardware for flash audio, that's a problem with flash. It even performs well with my iTunes TV shows (after I strip the DRM on my MacBook) and HTML5 Youtube videos.
I've never burned myself with any of those things. Flash is a blight.

How Apple Conceals Prototype iPhones http://bit.ly/cay8EN
Could someone explain to me why it doesn't show up in the iPhone ustream client for me and why the few times i've watched the livestream on my laptop the chat won't let me comment?
UI is everything! Pretty has to match with functional.
The first company to do an Android UI beautifully will sell millions of phones regardless of what the phones look like. Any slab phone with a huge screen is basically just one big UI anyway. All existing Android phones have a low level of "Finish." They work, but they don't work beautifully.
Is it true that they really didn't talk about the new Dell phones? Huh.
@HowardtheDuck
No, they discussed them. They even had some nice things to say. Called Dell laptops cheap. :)
@Air Force One
Oh, thank god. I came in just as the UStream was about to die. Those kids must have been joshin me.
I got chat banned for saying Josh sounded like an idiot on an issue!:D I say that all the time here and never get banned.
"Don't worry though, we'll have the regular podcast post up tomorrow as usual."
What do you mean "as usual"?
It often days two days or more...
Why cant the ustream just stay up after the broadcast like other non-engadget podcast/shows I've experienced, unless I'm totally missing something.
