You could order the
Bold 9650 from Verizon
all the way back in the early days of June -- but in case you needed to see the phone before buying it, you've now got an opportunity (spoiler: it's exactly what you think it is in real life). As of late last week, the phone is now available in Verizon retail stores for the same $150 on contract after rebate that you'll pay online, so pick your poison -- or, you know, hold out for a
Droid X,
Droid Incredible, or the like if you're ready for a clean break out of the last decade.

Windows7 Mobile will be the last nail in the RIM coffin. As a current Verizon Blackberry user, I will buy anything but a Blackberry as my next smartphone.
@(Unverified) Windows 7 no more like Android and Apple!

what are you smoking. windows mobile 7 isnt going to be the last nail in anybody's coffin.
@xyritheon
That's what Kin said... look at him now. ;(
Aw come on now, BlackBerry may be losing badly in the race, but with their sales, you wouldn't know it. They still have the enterprise customers wrapped up. I'm not personally a fan, in fact I can say without a huge change to their OS I'd never buy one but I do understand how some people like them. If you get one that doesn't have too many issues (Curve, Curve 2, Bold) you'll be fine. This Bold release is helpful to those who wanted a Tour without the trackball issues.
Blackberry just made even more money last quarter. Y'all don't know what you are talking about. Last nail in the coffin... Lmao. Yeah.... Suddenly businesses will just forget their blackberry servers. Dopes.
Verizon Wireless has been giving away Free Bold's to Tour owners :)

drop the monthly data plan to $15, allow tethering, and make the phone $99... then I would most def buy one over an android or iphone. can use my google voice to cut out data plan. then it would be serious contender.

Sorry But I plan to leave my Blackberry curve ( it's true me and my blackberry were truly inseperable but I need more) and use my upgrade as soon as there's a Droid that has quality specs WITH a keyboard. Blackberry doesn't seem to be changing much. I really want other perks now not just great email.
