The Queue: Hey guys, what'd I miss?

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW.com's daily Q&A column where the WoW.com team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

"Sorry I'm late, guys, cat was on fire. What'd I miss?

Guys?"

Kavaan asked:

"Has there been any news on whether the old races are getting a much-needed facelift in Cataclysm? It's been a very popular request among players, and while I'm sure there are more pressing concerns among the dev team, I find it hard to believe that it would ignore what so many have asked for."

A Blizzard rep recently stated that remodeling the vanilla races is on their to-do list, though what that means is anyone's guess. I think they do realize that the old races look irredeemably awful compared to worgen and goblins, or even to blood elves and draenei, but we'll almost definitely not see new models for them for Cataclysm.

mageneganova asked:

"What is Tol Barad like? Is it a complete replica of Wintergrasp, or is it something new that no one saw coming? And how well does combining a daily quest hub with a world PvP zone work?"

I see you asking this question every day, and I avoid it just because the answer is this: we just don't know yet. Tol Barad isn't implemented on the beta servers yet. Not a very exciting answer, I'm afraid.

Valt asked:

"What's the situation with deviate fish, Noggenfogger and furbolg rod and every similar transform tools? I heard rumors all of them have been removed from the game due either to oversights, quest deleting or the fact that world was redesigned so much that, for example, Wailing Caverns waters don't have deviate ... yet. Do I have to stack guild banks full of deviate fish and banks full of Noggen for special occasions?"

Deviate fish -- and by extension, Savory Deviate Delight -- are still in the game. Noggenfogger Elixir can be purchased by anyone in Gadgetzan for a very small fee. Dartol's Rod of Transformation now only works in Ashenvale.
