WRUP: Gamescom craziness comes to a close
A picture is worth a thousand words, no? The intrepid journalists you see above -- our very own Kyle Orland and Alexander Sliwinski (from left to right) -- were caught on camera in the usual convention coverage state: exhausted, overburdened and still working non-stop. At the very least, our diligent duo got snapped by Killer 7 and No More Heroes creator Suda51 and blasted onto Twitter in such a state.
We know what they'll be playing this weekend (read: catchup on Gamescom coverage), but what about the rest of our staff? And how about you? Hmmmmm?!
Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): [Speaking German.]
Andrew Yoon (@scxzor): I guess I'll try out that Mafia 2 copy that came in.
Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): I've been playing a ton of Split/Second and, last night, I made the mistake of looking ahead to how many episodes there are. Looks like I'll be playing Split/Second for a long time! (Which is wonderful, by the way.)
Chris Buffa (@ChrisBuffa): [Gettin' Buffa with it. Gettin' Buffa with it.]
Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): Lara and I will be spending the entire weekend together, just like old times.
David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): Now that I've finally finished Limbo, I plan to get to Alan Wake's The Signal this weekend. After I wrap that up, it's all about the Monday Night Combat.
Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): Just got Silent Hill: Shattered Memories through GameFly, and I look forward to scaring the crap out of myself all weekend. The call -- it's coming from inside the controller!.
James Ransom-Wiley: I'll be tomb raiding. Wait -- that's not the correct term anymore, is it?
JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I'm charging batteries for use in my Charge Beam in Metroid: Other M.
Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): Dude, Shank.
Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): [Copy-editing the planet.]
Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I'll be spending quality time with Michael Shepard (who looks just like me) in Mass Effect 2.
Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin) I have the hankering for some multiplayer fun, so I foresee spending time with the likes of Monday Night Combat and Bad Company 2.
Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM) Finally finished my Nightmare run on Alan Wake so maybe I can start The Signal. Hopefully some Monday Night Combat but probably more Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.
