The Queue: What's that, Deathwing?

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Really? I thought the first thing you'd say when you emerged from Deepholm would be something about unmaking the world, not requesting the next installment of an admittedly daily feature. But who are we to argue with the Aspect of Death?

Ilmyrn asked:

When will we see the world changes from Cataclysm? 4.0.1? Later? I want to get the Wrathgate done on as many characters as I can before it's gone forever.

Game systems change in 4.0.1. The world changes in 4.0.3.

RogueJedi86 asked:

Any word on a phasing sync feature so we can avoid the nightmare of Icecrown group quests where no one can help anyone else on a group quest due to being out of sync with their phase? Cata has extensive phasing, so I'd hope Blizz would implement a sync phase feature for the sake of individual quests.

I'm not aware of a way to change phases yet, but parties do currently have indicators when one of your members is out of sync, so maybe it's on the way.

Dpoyesac asked:

Any plans for an "Intro to Mastery" post? It's a new thang that we, the unwashed masses, have yet to really experience and certainly don't understand... When all my ArP turns into haste, should I go ahead and use the reforger to turn 40 percent of it into mastery?

Yes, this is one of many topics we'll likely tackle when appropriate.

Eldoron asked:

What is the best rogue spec for soloing/leveling in Cataclysm (starting from level 1), and what weapons (heirlooms) should I get for that spec?

Assassination is fantastic for leveling due to Deadly Momentum and Recuperate. There's very little downtime due to self-healing, and you're essentially an unstoppable murder machine until you decide to sit down. Grab a pair of daggers and you're good to go.
