Remember when it was always a surprise to find out what the WoW Insider staff was playing from week to week? Some Mass Effect 2 here, some Recettear there, some AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! -- A Reckless Disregard for Gravity over there. Who knew what we would be doing?
Cataclysm has brought that to its conclusion. Guess what we're all playing. Go on. Just guess.
Alex Ziebart (AlexZiebart): Cataclysm is so good. So very good. I haven't started raiding yet, personally; I'm still working on heroics, but it's been a good time. Despite my utter loathing of tanks who don't understand they need to let people use crowd control yet, I'm having a lot of fun slamming against the more challenging heroics.
Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey): Archaeology has eaten my soul. I'll be writing this weekend, working on gearing up my 85 and maybe playing my goblin a little bit in between it all. And archaeology. I have a fossilized raptor mount to construct!
Colby Moore (@TheArenaGuy): PvP, obviously. My warlock is 36 percent into 84. I'm hitting 85 with him on Friday (today is Thursday). I'm going to figure out how to equip him best in the shortest period of time. I'll be getting in a lot of rated battlegrounds as well as doing lots of arena. Even though my gear might be terrible, my partners don't mind that much. Theirs isn't much better, after all.
Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb): I'm going to have a pretty busy weekend, between Christmas parties, writing, and church, but I hope to find some time to fit in some heroics and rep grinding. With any luck, I'll be completely geared and ready to raid within a week or so.
Dan O'Halloran: Fairly annoyed that the random dungeon finder locked me out because I didn't meet the gear score for the level 82 instances, but a blue trinket drop in Blackrock Caverns fixed that. So I will be running more Random Dungeons with my balance druid while pushing through the rest of the Vashj'ir content or, as I like to call it, the new Stranglethorn Vale of Cataclysm. I think I will be level 92 when I finally get through it ...
Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives): Golden Sun: Dark Dawn when I'm at work, leveling my hunter, shammy and druid when I'm not. I still haven't set foot in 80+ content, since I'm enjoying leveling my alts so much!
Joe Perez (@Lodurzj): More Cataclysm! More heroics with the guild this weekend and trying to get a damn relic to drop so I can get my Cataclysmically Epic achievement. Raids start next week. We'll be doing 10-mans to start, and then as players catch up, we'll transition into 25s again. Should be a hell of a lot of fun!
Josh Myers (@elamqt): I'm already decked out in fancy new enhancement tier 11 pants off Pit Lord Argaloth and my epic ring from the Guardians of Hyjal. I'm working now on grinding Tol Barad reputation and gearing through heroics!
Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra): This weekend will be Cataclysm, of course, along with comics and a few other small projects. Where I am in Cataclysm? Happily taking my time and hopping between my main druid (just dinged 82) and my baby paladin (25). I'm slowly leveling leatherworking as well, and just ... taking my time. Exploring. Drinking it all in.

Mathew McCurley (@gomatgo): The great gear-up continues! We gave raiding a shot for a couple hours this week and did pretty well, but we definitely need just a few more pieces all around and we'll have the first few encounters. Very exciting. Cataclysm status: having a blast.
Matt Low (@matticus): More Cataclysm this weekend! I'll most likely be healing some guild heroics. Cataclysm status: All I need is a new wand but otherwise, I'm set to raid anyway.
Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel): It's all about Roblin the Goblin.
Sarah Nichol (@mentalshaman): Cataclysm all the way! I'm just stepping into heroics and digging into archaeology and getting my reputations up. And then catching up on some sleep.
Zach Yonzon (@battlemasters): Cataclysm, still. I'm leveling much, much slower than I ever expected. Real life has snared my pace, and I'm just not accustomed to it. I'll finally have an 85 by the time this is published and hopefully be rushing my pally. Then a lot of PvP on both toons. Interestingly, I'm equally excited to level my level 80 DK to 85, too, as well as level a goblin and maybe a troll druid from scratch. Yes, the game is that fun.
