THE CURSED CRUSADE BLESSED WITH A NEW $39.99 PRICE, A FINAL COVER, A NEW "TEMPLAR'S CURSE" TRAILER, AN OCTOBER RELEASE DATE, AND AN INAUGURAL DEVELOPER'S DIARY ENTRY
In case you were wondering, the word for the day is "New."

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- JULY 14, 2011 -- ATLUS today revealed a host of new details regarding The Cursed Crusade's release, including a new lower price point, an October 11 release date, a new trailer, and an introductory entry in a series of developer diaries on the game's official website.

Perhaps the most welcome news to gamers faced with a packed holiday release schedule and so many titles to choose from is a lower, more attractive $39.99 price point, intended to ease the tension felt on gamers' wallets. Also confirmed today were a new target release date of October 11 and the title's final cover artwork, meant to highlight the main characters' transformation over the course of the game.

Accompanying new release details were new assets, including a "Templar's Curse" trailer and the first in what is planned to be a series of developer's diaries chronicling the game's development. The video shows more footage than ever of the dreaded, hellish Templar's Curse, an affliction railed against by Denz and Esteban, the game's two protagonists. Amidst the scorched, charred vision of Western Europe, the two adventurers must quest to save not only their lives, but their souls as well.

The Cursed Crusade is scheduled to release on October 11, 2011 for PlayStation 3 system, Xbox 360 system, and PC. For more, including screenshots, videos, concept art, wallpapers, and a special "Launch The Crusade" section, visit the official website: http://www.thecursedcrusade.com.
