'Minor' PSP firmware update coming soon

Great news, everybody: That little number that tells you the current firmware version on your PSP is about to get incrementally higher. A post on PlayStation Blog has announced the impending release of firmware update v6.37, which "is a minor update that improves system software stability during use of some features."

We wish we could provide you with more details than that, but the aforementioned announcement post was exactly two sentences long, and we're still waiting to hear back from Sony. (Rumor has it that if you hold the PSP vertically and hold in the R button while shaking it violently, Skittles pour out of the UMD slot.)

[Thanks, Miguel.]
