The Queue: Tour the Blizzard

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft.

I'd like to put out a plea to the community:

Please don't queue for a random heroic and then AFK for 5 minutes at the beginning. You have a half an hour to "BRB bafroom" while you're waiting. Make good use of it.

/facepalm

Nacole asked:

Do resto druids need spirit?

Spirit is nice, but it's not a major stat anymore for us. I don't recommend (and neither does anything I've read) gemming for it. Intellect is where it's at for us. From my heroic and raiding experience, whatever spirit you get from your gear will be enough.

I don't have the most amazing gear (around 9,100 GearScore, about 110k mana raid buffed), and I rarely find myself with less than 50% mana on boss fights in raids. The only time I'm at all stressed for mana is when people are not executing correctly, but then that's something they need to work on -- in Cataclysm, I don't think it's our job to be safety nets for people anymore.

More raid instances ahead

Henry asked:

Do you think there will be two raids in 4.1?

Yes. Blizzard has said before that it wants multiple raids at each tier of content, much like it was back in BC. I haven't heard anything contrary to this, so I think it's safe to assume the trend will continue. It's possible we'll see two or three. The only thing we know for certain, though, is that one will be a Firelands raid -- nothing else, though.

Exploration achievement for Blizzard HQ

Buffles asked:

Around the 1st of April its vacation time for me and I'm going to be around Blizzards part of town, and I know they have a museum at their building. I'd love to be able to view all the art up close and personal. Is this museum available to the public for open tours, or is it just for special events, press, etc.. .

Blizzard doesn't offer public tours or viewings. Its "museum" is just a collection of Blizzard artifacts, from what I understand (no doubt cool though; don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking it). They have been known to occasionally give press tours and other such VIP things, but even those are few and far between.

You might not want to go there, though. Earthquakes have been known to strike Blizzard HQ. Probably the best photo tour of Blizzard I've seen, along with captions, was done by Ars Technica back in April 2010.
