The Queue: Rocky is okay edition

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mathew McCurley will be your host today.

Rocky is okay! Thursday night, little Rocky had an accident with one of his toys that required a late-night trip to the emergency vet to make sure his little kitty esophagus was okay. All is good, however, and Rocky is on cat painkillers and medicine and is doing fine. He's a little trooper. As you can see from the above picture, he is resting and recovering well.

DKs CAN be made as (slightly) decaying; hardly anyone uses those three "official" DK skins, though. I've always wondered if Blizzard considered forcing their use but then backed off.

I love the "official," unique death knight skins. The tauren, orc, goblin, blood elf, human, and night elf ones in particular are so awesome, and I wish more death knights used these unique skin tones. Blizzard went all out making death knights of every race have some really cool visual options, and it is so sad that so many people fail to see them or use them. Make some new death knight characters just to see those cool skin tones.

Awesome asked:

Not serious Q for the Q

So, seeing as a Forsaken Death Knight has died, and been revived twice, what kind of out look on life do they have?

Are they afflicted with a severe psychological breakdown?

OR are they super-chill awesome party rockers, not caring for life or death, but the thrills of both?

We learned from various Blizzard sources and lore bits that the undead are mostly angry and impatient because they are under constant pain. Undead priests (and their undead beneficiaries) are especially under constant stress and pain due to the holy light's effect on the Forsaken -- heals actually cauterize their body back together with searing holy light.

Forsaken death knights must have utter contempt for most beings because they were once slaves to the Lich King, freed, then brought back under his sway. Finally, they were roped into the death knight insurgency because it was the only place to go. After a while, it must just be easier to follow and go with the flow then give a crap and deal with the pain. It's always pain and suffering with the Forsaken, as they struggle to hold themselves together.

Udderpowered asked:

Moira - Future dungeon boss (again) or future queen?

Moira is here to stay as a ruler, no doubt. She is a character who has a lot of room to grow, especially in relation to the other members of the Council of Three Hammers. She has plenty of room to spread her reach and plenty of room to grow as a character and ruler. Now that the Dark Irons are integrating back into Ironforge society, their representative is not going anyway, and the Dark Irons are here to stay.

Msterblaster asked:

Hey "The Queue".. What is the proper way of giving thanks to you guys for answering my questions. Either way Thanks Q.

The best way to thank us for answering your question is to listen to the WoW Insider Show and keep coming up with awesome questions for The Queue so we have plenty of compelling stuff to talk about.

Pumabackup asked:

question: why are the conquest vendors (at least the ones in SW) the only npc's that have a collision effect? you can run straight through all other players and npc's but those two have a rather large radius around them that you just run into.

This phenomenon exists in Orgrimmar as well. Basically, the NPCs do not have a collision effect, but rather the conquest and valor point vendors are behind an invisible wall that players can click through but not pass through. I am sure this is in the game to prevent griefing and keeping the area around these NPCs clutter-free. I don't mind.

Have you ever been to a late-night fast food joint where the employees are behind 3 inches of plexiglass? I'm guessing Stormwind had a bit of a crime wave earlier in the year ...
