The Queue: Shameless theft

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

This time, it's a stolen Raid Rx header. Have I no shame? Is there no article safe from my header theft? The answer is yes -- I won't steal anything with a variation of deathwingsez.jpg.

Jamie9996 asked:

Question: Do you think that Blizz might ever introduce a customised title? For example say my character name was Chlorr: Chlorr of the Mask? It would obviously need certain restrictions, but do you think it might be done eventually? It seems like something that would fit in to the Blizzard store quite well (like the mounts and pets you can buy)

I think it's pretty unlikely, personally, given that titles are intended (to reiterate what I said yesterday about armor sets) to be a prestige marker. It would also open up a whole new set of problems for Blizzard CS, who'd need to monitor whatever dumb crap people put in their custom title. Names are already hard enough to keep track of. Now they'd need to look out for level 85 worgen death knights named "Wakeupsheeple, Akkktibli$$ard Sucks" too.

Vacasta asked:

What's the deal with that WoW themed themepark in China, Joyland, that's under construction? Is that an official Blizzard project, or are they getting their intellectual property ripped off? Have they made any comment on it? Possible Blizzcon announcement, maybe?

China's copyright laws aren't very stringent, and in this case the theme park in question is definitely being operated without consent from Blizzard.

rniemritz asked:

Any chance that blizz is going to reduce the cap for members in a guild? I started a new guild up about a month ago and recruiting is a huge pain. Only 12 active members to this point. You always get asked "What level guild?" Nobody want to join a lvl 1 guild. Maybe if blizz reduced the amount of members you can have in a guild to lets say...500, that might help the new guilds recruit. Either that or give the new guild a perk for people to join.

Pretty much not a chance at this point. Blizzard actually just raised the maximum number of visible members in a guild (up from the 500 that it used to be) for this expansion. They may change how guild progression works, but they won't shrink the number of members a guild can have in it.

Udderpowered asked:

If Darnassus and the tree it's on are both new things, where did most Nelves live before? Did they not have a capital?

Ostensibly, a lot of them used to live in Hyjal and in other nelfy-lookin' areas of Kalimdor prior to all of the problems they had in the Third War. Rather than live in terrible corrupted and/or destroyed areas after that, most of them live in Darnassus now.
