Battlefield 3 fact sheet outs multiplayer weapons, vehicles, modes, facts

We suspect there's a good many of you ready to dedicate a gross amount of your personal time to Battlefield 3's multiplayer component. Your significant others will be ignored; children will be unbathed; dogs will be unwalked. Try as you might, you're powerless to avoid it. This is a fait accompli.

But despite your destiny, you still don't know all that much about it! Like ... what kind of guns it has? KH2002? Got it! How about a M40A5? Oh, you know it's got that. If you were as worried as we were that your trusty MP412 wouldn't be making an appearance, well ... rest easy 'cause Battlefield 3 totally has that gun too!

GAME DESCRIPTION
Armed with the new Frostbite™ 2 game engine and more than a decade of multiplayer expertise, the award-winning team at DICE is set to deliver their biggest and most accessible First Person Shooter (FPS) ever this October with Battlefield 3.

Frostbite 2 advances the state of the art, and serves as the power center that allows Battlefield 3 to deliver superior performance in character animation, visual rendering, audio and physical destruction. Battlefield 3 is the only FPS in the marketplace using Frostbite 2, and the only shooter capable of making the gameplay experience feel alive with all the sights, sounds and action of real-world incursions.

The new engine allows for massive multiplayer maps that move seamlessly between tight infantry combat to the series' signature open, sandbox vehicle warfare. Each map features a variety of environments demanding players to constantly re-evaluate the best combat tactics to deploy in order to win.

Battlefield 3's multiplayer offering is set to dominate this fall with enhanced persistence, new modes including Team Deathmatch and co-op, accessible team play and powerful and free online social features found via the games unique social network, Battlelog.

Play Your Way In the Biggest Battlefield Ever! From city streets to open rural landscapes, Battlefield 3 offers unparalleled depth and gameplay variety. Classic 'Rush' and 'Conquest' modes are complemented by newly introduced 'Team Death Match' for an instant action fix.

Accessible Team-Play: Battlefield 3 offers fine-tuned team-play possibilities and accessibility for newcomers. Team-play is key for players to reach dominance on the battlefield.

Personalized Dog Tags: Players can express their individuality with their own dog tag that gets displayed to defeated enemies. Players choose a design with a dynamically tracked in-game stat that expresses their personality and play-style.

The Physical Battlefield: Use the environment to your advantage. Deploy your machine gun bipods on any mountable surface for greater accuracy. Claim the dog tag of enemies via skillful knife takedowns. Lay down suppressive fire to limit the combat capabilities of enemies.

Enhanced Persistence: There is always a new rank or reward to unlock in Battlefield 3. The depth and vast range of unlockable weapons, vehicles, upgrades, and tools will keep Battlefield 3 players occupied for years to come.
