3DS firmware update delayed, will be available 'by December 8'

You may have been getting apprehensive that Nintendo wouldn't deliver the 'November update' for the 3DS's firmware on time. You would have been right to worry! In a brief message on the official site, Nintendo said that the firmware is "in the final stages of internal testing" and is now scheduled for release by December 8.

The update, when released, will add 3D video recording functionality, new StreetPass games, the 3DS-to-3DS system transfer service, DLC infrastructure, and more.
