WRUP: The Price, in this selected instance, is probably not right

Every week, just at the start of the weekend, we catch up with the WoW Insider staff and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" -- otherwise known as: WRUP. Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game, and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!

This past Wednesday, I got to spend the day with Michele Morrow in Los Angeles. For those who don't know, she's not just a WoW-lebrity aiming to be cast as Lady Sylvanas in the upcoming WoW movie. She's and honest to goodness real celeb, having appeared in a number of horror movies and on TV.

With yours truly in Hollywood, I figured it was time to do as the locals do -- both Michele and I headed to CBS Television City to try our luck at landing a starring role on daytime TV via The Price is Right. There was lots of waiting involved, but the payoff was pretty cool. We got front row seats and plenty of camera time. (You're welcome, America.)

But enough about dinette sets, cars, and the thrill of Plinko -- that episode won't air until March 29. We need to live in the now. And living in the now means it's time to roll up our sleeves and WRUP like we've never WRUPed before.

So, ladies, gents, and misshapen gnomes -- what in the heck are you playing this weekend?

Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) I'll be playing Mass Effect 1. Yes, no 2, no 3 -- 1. Maybe in a few more years, I'll play 2.

Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) I never finished burning through Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 to recreate the Shepard I lost in the Great Computer Meltdown of 2011, so I really need to do that this weekend. I'm hoping I can burn through that quickly so I can get back to doing some personal fiction writing again. I was getting into a groove and don't want to derail it too far.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I've got raiding to do, which will hopefully culminate in murdering a dragon somewhere in the vicinity of Karazhan. Other than that, I've got relatives visiting, so I likely won't be playing much of anything other than the Draw Something app that my sister made me download on my phone so we could draw pictures at each other. Bonus answer: I don't feel that I need to explain my art to you, Warren.

Allison Robert (@AllisonRobert) I'll be leveling my shaman this weekend and going to a cousin's bridal shower. Perhaps, if I have the emotional stamina for it, I will continue my apparently fruitless quest for the Crawling Claw.

Chase Hasbrouck (@alarondruid) I've resumed my soloing attempts with my druid; I've cleared out the majority of the bosses in Naxxramas and am now starting on Ulduar. I'm getting the itch to start a Horde character and check out the lore from that side, but that'll get shelved by Mass Effect 3 pretty quickly.

Dan Desmond (@antigen_) All the gaming I am likely to do this weekend will involve playing cards and copious amounts of alcohol; I have been conned into going to a friend's cabin with a bunch of college buddies. Ow, my liver.

However, I would like to thank all of you for counting down the days to my birthday! You can say you're really just waiting for Mass Effect 3, but I know the real reason.

Daniel Whitcomb (@DanielWhitcomb) Against my better judgment, I will probably be playing ME3 multiplayer again. I know I'll lose all my progress when the beta ends and the game goes live on Tuesday, but damn me if it ain't way too fun to put down. I unlocked the Asari Adept recently and discovered the joy of the Carnifex pistol. Freezing an enemy in place then headshotting them with a scoped pistol is way too much fun.

Dawn Moore (@dawnwow) I am playing WoW this weekend. It's alt leveling season, and this time I really am going to level a shaman. This will be the fourth shaman I try to level since I wasn't going to server transfer a level 20 when I moved my main off the server. I may play some SC2 too, since I'll be watching the GSL finals, and that always gets me wanting to play.

Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen) (gplus.to/foxvanallen) As you already know, I'm spending the weekend in Los Angeles, meeting up with some WoW folks and Twitter friends. Oh, and Saturday morning is a Mike Sacco kind of morning, know what I mean?

Joe Perez (@lodurjz) LoL, SWTOR, maybe some WoW and reading. Lots and lots of reading. The newest installment of the Rachel Morrigan series and the Horus Heresy novels just came out, so I'm going to be one big huge bookworm, mostly.

Josh Myers (@Elamqt) I feel like my weekends are always more boring than my weeks, so I don't have much to say about that. As for the bonus question, WoW will eventually just succumb to Dragonball Z syndrome, with everyone eventually getting so powerful that the fights no longer make sense, and boss fights will end with us just hitting one button for the next three episodes to charge up a Spirit Bomb powerful enough to destroy Sargeras.

Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra) Dis veekend is un trip to IKEA, ja? But yeah, I'm going to go and grab some bits and pieces around the house. I still haven't framed my Karazhan posters yet ...
Oh, right, games. Picking up my DS again after I grabbed my copy of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2. Maybe some alt leveling, too?

Lisa Poisso (@LisaPoisso) Leveling fishing. It's just that kind of spring weekend.

Mathew McCurley (@gomatgo) I'm playing WoW, SWTOR, and Plan the PAX East Panel for the live WoW Insiider Shooooooooow.

Matt "Matticus" Low (@matticus) Epic amounts of League of Legends is in what's in store for me, mostly. Going to scale back on the weekend World of Warcraft for a bit in anticipation of Mass Effect 3. Have to make sure my saves and everything are still in order. Are yours?

Megan "New Girl" O'Neill (@slowpoker) Saturday night, I get to bear tank a Firelands 10-man with Twitterland Raiding again. Saturday afternoon, I need to fish so I don't run out of feasts this time. Maybe Staghelm will quit being a jerk and finally drop a fire kitty staff for my bearcat. In other news, I'm looking around at new computers.

Michael Gray (@writegray) Finishing up some Turing's Wife and then starting to work with beta readers on the book. I'm fairly excited, obviously. Aside from that, I'll spend some time cruising Warzones and Battlegrounds, because that's how I unwind.

Olivia Grace (@oliviadgrace) I will be forcing myself to grind honor on my priest when I really want to be levelling my baby goblin hunter in Battlegrounds.

Robin Torres (@cosmiclaurel) We will be going to the Discovery Science Center on Saturday and since that is very close to Disneyland, we will probably bop by there too. Sunday will be spent recovering with Tiny Tower, some SWTOR and some Battlegrounds -- since my PvP love has been reignited by the SWTOR War Zones. Fight at the objective!

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
