MV Guide: April 9 - 15, 2012

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively TV.

Every week, the Massively staff logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises, so you'll find a variety of titles to take a look at. During our streamed events, you can participate in the live chat, ask questions to learn about the game, and simply spend some time with Massively staff and readers. (Of course, streaming is subject to the whims of outside forces like server-side gremlins once in a while.)

Monday

1:00 p.m. EDT: Blake -- Star Wars: The Old Republic
Blake continues his mission to escape the origin world of Tython in Lunchtime Livecast #18. With his AC right around the corner, this might be your last chance to see Blake's base consular!

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Stronghold Kingdoms
It's Rise and Shiny time, and this time Beau will be diving into Stronghold Kingdoms, a cool castle-building MMO that holds a ton of promise. Check out this stream as he explores the beginning levels of the game and hopes to understand what the heck is going on. So far he has no idea.

8:00 p.m. EDT: Mike -- EVE Online
It's that time again, folks! Mike is taking his low-level, useless character on a deadly trip into low-security space. Pirate taunts, epic escapes, stolen ore and lost ships abound in this month's EVE Cannonball Run. Can we make it? Probably not.

Tuesday

2:00 p.m. EDT: Larry -- Star Wars: The Old Republic
With a level 50 on the PTS, Larry will take this opportunity show off some of the future improvements to the game coming in Update 1.2: Legacy. This will be a great time to ask questions about what will soon be released to live, so don't miss it!

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Sagramore
Sagramore looks like a cool browser-based MMO with hand-drawn art and some real charm. It is in a development phase right now, so forgive any issues that pop up during the stream. Other than that, it looks really cool and plays pretty much like a classic MMO.

8:30 p.m. EDT: MJ -- EverQuest II
After gaining too many levels in last week's holiday quests, MJ needs to get back to Greater Faydark and finish up her quests so she can move from the newbie land into the tree-top city of Kelethin (and buy an acorn house!).

10:00 p.m. EDT: Richie -- World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria
An Alliance ship carrying Horde slaves has crashed into the Wandering Isle, and it's up to our Pandaren Monk Flamingo to sort things out with these strange furless creatures. Join Richie as he finishes up the Pandaren starting area, and if there's time, tests out the level 85 zone known as the Jade Forest. Don't miss it!

Wednesday

3:00 p.m. EDT: Jeremy -- Vanguard
Join Jeremy as he tries to master the in-depth crafting interface, complete work orders, and craft the highest-quality equipment.

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Second Life
This Second Life Wednesday is all about boating! Beau is going to check out some of the cooler craft available for purchase and some of the areas of the world that offer players with all sorts of boating activities. There's a ton of water in world, so we might as well take advantage of it!

7:00 p.m. EDT: Mike -- RIFT
Last week's RIFT stream was a disaster marked by Mike's inability to read quest text and his overall incompetence when it comes to MMO gameplay. But there are still levels left to earn in our RIFT Lite trial, and we are damn sure going to earn them. This week, Mike is on a (doomed) mission for RIFT dominance.

8:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- Aion
After counting down the days until the release of 3.0, MJ excitedly dives in to tour some of the newly released content. Join with her to explore either Sarpan, Tiamaranta, or the new housing districts. Or maybe even all three!

9:00 p.m. EDT: Taryn -- APB: Reloaded
After changing her Tboo Thursdays to Wednesdays, Taryn got right back in the swing of her APB game. Join her this Wednesday and run around with her and Loo for their usual ADHD filled streams during which they plan to lay the smackdown on some pesky enforcers. Also promised? New outfits! And maybe a gameplay schooling session from a popular gold ranked Crim! This should be interesting, so stay tuned!

Thursday

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Warspear Online
Warspear Online is known as a pocket-sized MMO that runs on different mobile devices, but this time Beau is going to show off its browser-based version. He's already got a character that can do a bit of damage, but let's see if he can finish some quests and do some damage while actually sitting at his desk chair!

9:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- Vanguard
Itching to return to the class that combines two awesome classes into one super package, MJ brings a new Disciple to life. Start a new journey into Telon with her and see the world from the beginning.

Friday

3:00 p.m. EDT MJ -- Aion
Picking up where she leaves off on Wednesday's tour, MJ continues to show off the new content of Ascension. With the consensual dueling zone, maybe she can find an Asmodian willing to chat. Wouldn't that be a conversation to see!

4:00 p.m. EDT: Jeremy -- Alganon
Jeremy returns to Alganon once again to take a look at how the MMO is holding up.

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- AdventureQuest Worlds
This charming browser-based game has been wowing millions of players for quite a while so far. In a recent return to the game, Beau was shocked to find They Might Be Giants in the game, asking Beau to partake in an adventure. Who could say no to the duo of geekdom? Not Beau!

Saturday

5:00 p.m. EDT: Dylan "GGraves" -- Destroy All Evil! (World of Warcraft: BC)
Join Dylan as he celebrates the upcoming release of Diablo III! This series will turn light into darkness as GGraves cuts through hordes of demons and undead! Hellfire, massive weapons and righteous redemption await! Come join us in the chat room as we Destroy All Evil with other Massively viewers. The featured game will be World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade. Last week was merely a set back!

Sunday

1:00 p.m. EDT: Blake -- Global Agenda
Suppose you were a max level character in Global Agenda who PvPed a lot. What would you do if you just wanted to switch things up a bit? Find out in Lunchtime Livecast #19!
