MV Guide: June 11 - 17, 2012

MV Guide June 11 17, 2012

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively TV.

Every week, the Massively Stream Team logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises each week, so you'll find a variety of titles to watch. During our streamed events, you can participate in the live chat, ask questions to learn about the game, or simply spend some time with Massively staff and readers. (Of course, streaming is subject to the whims of outside forces like server-side gremlins once in a while.)

Follow along after the jump to see what's on this week's schedule, and let us know if there's a specific game you'd like to see streamed next week!

Monday

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Illarion
Check out this weird little indie game Beau dug up from the internet. It's actually pretty cool and has forced roleplay and very unique gameplay. Hopefully it will remain fun all week or Beau is in for some torture. You can never tell with Rise and Shiny.

6:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- Lord of the Rings Online
Join MJ for the final day of the Spring Festival. There are still horse races to win, Inn League ales to chug, and dances to master. Not to mention that slightly fuzzy fence; MJ will conquer it and master drunken fence-walking... and you can be there to witness it!

8:00 p.m. EDT: Mike -- EVE Online
It's that time again, EVE fans--time to join Mike as he takes his Drake into the depths of space and cleans up some Level II mission space rats. This week's stream brings two ways to watch: talk to Mike as he slings missiles at dangerous pirates, or try to down his ship during the stream to land yourself the 100 million ISK bounty on his head. Which one will you choose?

Tuesday

3:00 p.m. EDT: Blake -- Star Wars: The Old Republic
At long last, Blake has returned to the Massively Livecast schedule! Does he still remember which Lunchtime Livecast it is? Does he even remember how to play his Consular? Get reacquainted with the SWTOR and Global Agenda veteran as he makes his return to casting!

9:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- EverQuest II
MJ has jungle fever! Needing a break from decorating, MJ heads off into the wilds of Kunzar Jungle to follow some quest lines and get some goods (like, maybe housing decorations?). Watch as she takes a walk on the wild side.

Wednesday

7:00 p.m. EDT: Mike -- World of Tanks
Mike's mid-week game hopping continues, this time into free-to-play action-MMO World of Tanks. Saddle up with Mike as he chooses his first tank and ventures out into the game's dangerous world. Will Mike be successful in his conquests, or will this stream end like all of his others (in an embarrassing death broadcast to the world)? Tune in to find out!

8:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- Aion
Having missed the opportunity to delve into Fire Temple last week, MJ looks forward to really tearing through the place this time around! The gargoyles and fire creatures don't stand a chance. And Kromede? Pfft, let's just see her try and stop MJ.

Thursday

8:00 a.m. EDT: David "Psykopig" -- Star Wars the Old Republic
Psykopig is ready to move onto a new game! Thursdays are SWTOR PvP Days! Psykopig brings a new meaning to PvP on Thursday as he takes you on a journey through high-level and low-level PvP! Come join the anticipation as he throws that Huttball, captures that turret point and destroys those Voidstar doors!

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Luvinia Online
Check out Beau as he attempts once again some PvP in this great anime MMO. Join him in Yutaka's Tomb, a new dungeon as he stares down the face of his enemies... and dies to tell about it!

Friday

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Gunshine
It's been a while since Beau streamed this game live, so why not now? If you're into action-packed games filled with exploding zombies, all within your browser, then you might like Gunshine. Beau will take you through a few missions and pop a few zombies open, all for you.

8:00 p.m. EDT: Jeremy -- Vanguard
Someone suggested to Jeremy he drop his newb Disciple, because MJ has a firm, kung-fu grip on that class, but instead he should try Dread Knight. It would be interesting, but what could be even more interesting, is a weekly musical chairs marathon showing off all the amazing classes and their starting zones. Tune in to help Jeremy decide. (Moved from 9 p.m. to 8 to accommodate SOE's in-game event!)

Saturday

8:00 a.m. EDT: David "Psykopig" -- Star Wars the Old Republic
Star Wars the Old Republic! Join in for the Saturday Story show, when Psykopig will create a character from scratch and take us through class quests and planet quests to give a deep look into the game! What character do you want to see?

9:00 p.m. EDT: Jeremy -- Everquest II
The dungeon finder is go. Jeremy takes a break from the dungeon maker and running the brilliant player-made dungeons to get some group action in the official dungeons. Aye, and thar be many dungeons to run. Don't ask why that was written with a pirate accent.
