One Shots: The Hutt in the hat

One Shots... we like hats

Massively reader Leandra sent us a delicious batch of screenshots from new shiny The Secret World, but her "throwaway" entry from Star Wars: The Old Republic is the one I couldn't resist highlighting. She wrote in,

I recently resubscribed to The Old Republic to check out the changes made in the last few patches. The devs have made a lot of much-needed improvements, and I'm having a lot of fun. This is my Jedi Consular character on Nar Shaddaa, one of my favorite areas in the game. The statue of the Hutt in the hat always cracks me up. Why is he wearing that hat??

He's wearing that hat because it provided me an awesome post title and a giggle, that's why! The color shot and a few more from around the MMOverse await your clickery!

This Vanguard character is also wearing a hat, in a complete coincidence. At least, I think it's a hat. Johanis sent us this image of Delivis, his level 23 Dread Knight in SOE's soon-to-be-F2P fantasy sandpark. He says, "After a lot of traveling, Delivis finally arrived at a vampire slayer village, which you can see over his shoulder. Wish him luck!" Luck! The good kind!

It's been a while since we had a Guild Wars 2 screenshot, so how about this one from Eyeofthetiger? He's wearing a hat and breathing fire. Win!

Finally, let me say thank you to Brian for our next shot of some characters "finding ways to entertain themselves outside of the norm" in Final Fantasy XIV's Ul'dah. One of these things just doesn't fit in here. That's right: Four of these characters are wearing hats. This is awesome.

OK, the hat thing is totally out of my system now. Promise. Next week, back to serious screenshot business. So send 'em in!
