Recreate Jaina Proudmoore with transmogrification

I haven't played the pre-expansion event yet, but I heard Jaina Proudmoore is having a really bad week in it. Apparently someone threw a surprise party at her house and left the place trashed, then when she went to the salon later they completely botched her dye job. I feel so bad for her! The poor girl just hasn't been able to catch a break since that awful mess with Arthas. Still, trying to go three shades lighter all in one go ... She brought that one on herself.

Anyway, in honor of the Mists of Pandaria pre-expansion event, I thought it fitting to feature Lady Jaina Proudmoore for this week's transmog outfit. Sadly, Jaina's new, unique model can't be replicated by players, but you can get pretty close to making her old one.

So let's talk about Jaina's sleeves, shall we? In our version of Jaina's outfit, there are no poofy white sleeves. The reason for this is that true transmog outfits must have a pair of gloves and bracers incorporated into the look so they can be worn in combat. Unfortunately, bracers (and many gloves) clamp down the sleeves of shirts and make them look skin tight instead of full and flowing. This was the problem Jaina's outfit, so I decided to just not bother with the sleeves at all and use a pair of matching gloves instead.

If you just want to sport the puffy sleeves around town though, just equip a White Swashbuckler's Shirt or a Formal White Shirt and leave your gloves and bracers in your bags. You can see how the Formal White Shirt displays in game, without the gloves or bracers, in the picture to the right.

Jaina Proudmoore in Warcraft III

I've always wondered why Jaina's outfit was so different in World of Warcraft compared to what she wore in Warcraft III. Looking at it now, maybe it's just that those pants make her butt look big. What? They do!
