Heroic Dungeon Bosses in 5 seconds

Oh god, oh god, oh god... That really is a giant bug. So, there you are in the Gate of the Setting Sun heroic, on your first run, and a really giant bug comes smashing through the walls. A really giant bug. Really giant. Ugh.

You don't want to have to think on your feet, you don't want to have to explain tactics to the panda gently rocking in the corner, or the blood elf running in circles screaming "I can feel them crawling in my hair!" What you need is some five second explanations to copy and paste into chat, that your party can read and execute.

And it's OK, WoW Insider is here to help. We've totally stopped freaking out about the giant bug. If you're wondering where the heroic versions of the leveling dungeons feature in this guide, they don't. They're almost exactly the same as the leveling dungeons, for bosses in 5 seconds purposes!

Gate of the Setting Sun

Striker Ga'Dok: Don't stand in the green. Healers watch for Prey Time and Impaling Strike. His two strafing runs create a wide strip of death from one side to the other. Stay in corners. Tank adds.

Commander Ri'mok: Really don't stand in the green, unless you like debuffs. Kite the boss to keep the green neat. Get the hell away from Frenzied Assault, if you're tanking pop cooldowns or run.

Saboteur Kip'tilak: Prepare for hilarity. Run away from group/bombs if you get Sabotage. Bomb explosions form a grid, each sending a fire wall north, south, east and west*. Enjoy!
*please note these may not be compass points, the description is an attempt to improve upon Blizzard's "the four cardinal directions".

Raigonn: All 3 DPS use a nearby cannon and kill the Weak Spot. Healer and tank handle the adds. Dispel Screeching Swarm. Once his carapace breaks, blow CDs and DPS him. Run from Fixate, and from Stomp if your healer's struggling.

Siege of Niuzao Temple

Vizier Jin'bak: Sap Puddle management: if it gets too big get in it, briefly. He'll detonate it, if it's huge it'll hurt. The DoT isn't that bad if managed. Kill globules. Run from Detonate.

Commander Vo'Jak: Take the yellow balls and throw them on the ramp up. Try to hit enemies, particularly Demolishers. Don't throw yellow balls at the group. Run from the whirlwind.

General Pa'valak: Run from his thrown sword. Dispel or heal through Tempest. Don't try to damage the boss through Bulwark, throw the explosives back at the army if you're fast.

Wing Leader Ner'onok: Avoid Caustic Pitch. Jump to remove Quick-Dry Resin. Make sure you're standing with a wall behind you when he flies along the bridge, and interrupt Gusting Winds.

Scholomance

Instructor Chillheart: Don't touch the Ice Wall. Use a tanking CD for Touch of the Grave. Run away with Ice Wrath. Then, nuke all the things. Don't stand in bad.

Jandice Barov: Avoid her cone effect. Try to hit the right darn image. The wrong ones look wrong, but you'll have to pay attention. Don't stand in the gravity.

Rattlegore: Click a Bone Pile to get Bone Armor. You will die without it. Stay away from the Soulflame. Tanks, use CDs or kite when the Rusting stacks get high. Bone Armor is really important.

Lilian Voss: She'll grip you all in, and you'll start dropping bad on the floor. Keep moving, try not to fill the room with bad. Kite her soul. Run away and use a CD when she fixates. Repeat.

Darkmaster Gandling: He sends you to rooms. DPS kill adds, healers dispel a fresh subject. Don't DPS him during Rise. If you can deal with the rooms, his damage is pretty light.

Scarlet Halls

Houndmaster Braun: Tank the dogs as best you can. Healers, ready your CDs for Bloody Rage. Push DPS, and it'll all be fine.

Armsmaster Harlan: When he leaps, he's about to whirlwind. Run like hell. Go up the ramp, and jump down. It will one-shot most non-tanks. Bring the adds to your tank, they've got enough to avoid with the cone effect too.

Flameweaver Koegler: Interrupt his Volley and Pyroblast. Healers, dispel debuffs, and offensively dispel or spellsteal the boss's Quickened Mind. Don't bother intercepting Book Burner, just don't stand in fire. Avoid fire breath.

Scarlet Monastery

Thalnos the Soulrender: Tank the Crusaders. Interrupt Spirit Gale. Dispel Evict Soul as quickly as you can, if you can dispel Mind Rot do. Look out for patrolling adds in the area!

Brother Korloff: Clear a large area, at least one side. Avoid the fists, and the kick, and don't stand in scorched earth. Accidentally engaging adds is a huge risk in this fight, you'll probably pull him accidentally.

High Inquisitor Whitemane: Use minor mitigation CDs for Durand's two moves. Interrupt Whitemane's resurrection, or wipe. Interrupt all her other stuff when you can, and dispel her shield. When she resses Durand, kill her first.
