WRUP: Pitching Indies

A happy side effect of the Joystiq Indie Pitch is getting some of these developers enough of a sales boost to get them off ramen for a couple days. Purchasing a game from indies is just like supporting a Kickstarter ... but, you know, with the instant gratification of receiving a game right away.

• Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Trying to erase Mass Effect 3 from my memory. Planning on getting together with some friends and trying out Dungeon Defenders on the PC.

• Ben Gilbert (@RealBenGilbert): Playing "figure out what didn't leak about Assassin's Creed 3 before Monday's embargo." Also, Mass Effect 3, obviously.

• David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): This weekend I'm hoping I can finally start Mass Effect 3. Outside of that, I'll be going for 100K Gamerscore. I'm right on the doorstep with 99,100!

• JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I'm finally free of Kid Icarus review obligations, so I'm going to play a bunch of Kid Icarus multiplayer, probably.

• Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): I'll be playing Yesterday today, tomorrow and the next day, which means eventually I'll be playing Yesterday yesterday, for at least two days in a row.

• Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): I'll be playing a literal version of Super Crate Box, where I take a mountain of swag to UPS in preparation for our PAX East giveaways.

• Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): With Ninja Gaiden 3 out of the way, I should give Binary Domain a spin. Do I hurt or heal the robots?

• Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): Have both the Mists of Pandaria and the Guild Wars 2 betas to play this weekend. While those are both downloading and installing, I'll be Drawing Something.

• Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): I might have to dig into Closure on PSN, but I'm hoping to grab the Arrival DLC for Mass Effect 2 now that the face bug in ME3 is getting fixed. Maybe some time for Kid Icarus too?

• Steven Wong: I'll most likely be playing Mass Effect 3 multiplayer while I'm launching an interstellar ballistic attack against a group of pigs in Angry Birds Space.

• Xav de Matos (@Xav): I've been going on an iPad game spree since picking up the newest device from Apple. Waking Mars, Jetpack Joyride, Infinity Blade 2, and Puzzlejuice are my current addictions. (I'll get back to Mass Effect 3 real soon.)
