Ladies and gentlemen, I'm afraid I'm taking over the column this week, as our own Fox Van Allen is lost in the middle of pre-Cataclysm Thousand Needles, far from his west coast destination. Do not fret over Fox's fate; he merely has to find a friendly local centaur to ask for directions, somewhere on the canyon floor. Wait ... those centaur aren't exactly friendly, are they? Well, maybe he can find Freewind Post somewhere along the line.
While Fox figures his way out of a time/space/video game conundrum, we've got a way more important matter to attend to. What the heck is everyone playing this weekend?
Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) After entertaining the illustrious Fox Van Allen, I have family coming in town to entertain as well. Little raiding on Sunday, and likely beta stuff this weekend.
Dan Desmond (@antigen_) Since I have my third ret paladin at max level, I'll probably spend a good amount of time gearing it out and whatnot. I'll probably dip into Diablo III a bit, but I'm getting a little bored of my monk to be honest. I could try another class but every attempt I've made at alting has just ended in me getting to New Tristram and logging out.
Daniel Whitcomb (@danielwhitcomb) This weekend is actually a huge house cleaning weekend, so I very well may not have time to play anything. That said, the Rebellion DLC has rekindled my love for Mass Effect multiplayer, so if I find time, I'll fit in a few more rounds. The Reegar Carbine completes me in ways I never thought possible.
Fox Van Allen (@foxvanallen) Hey, who locked this poor panther in a cage? I should totally let it out.
Joe Perez (@Lodurzj) Pacing my floor back and forth waiting for news, it's a crappy game but I get to play it this weekend, I mean, you know how it goes. Maybe some Diablo III, definitely some League of Legends, working on a new podcast project that I can't wait to tell you all about once it's up and running! Also, just bought the humble bundle, so replaying Bastion on the PC, playing Limbo and trying out that Sword and Sworcery one. Also, I have a brand new arena team in WoW, so probably go for a spin or two with them.
Kelly Aarons (@Cadistra) Seeing the ma an' pa on Sunday, and getting some Dee-three in when my wrists don't hurt.
Mathew McCurley (@gomatgo) WoW, LoL as the staples, but it will be a busy weekend packing for the move. Lots to do. Gonna be running some instances and raids this weekend on Real ID so follow me on Twitter if you're up for that sort of thing. I'll announce it.
Matt "Matticus" Low (@matticus) Dance Central 2. ... What? Stop looking at me weirdly. :P
Matt Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) Hoping to work on my To Murder short fiction thing this weekend. It has murder in it. I'll probably play some D3 with the wife (I never play solo anymore) and do some WoW on the side. And I plan to build a robot. No reason. Just lacking a robot around here.
Megan O'Neill (@slowpoker) Tanking some beta as a demo warlock -- or, at least, trying to. And maybe writing about how I really hope they aren't done mechanically with affliction. In between? Attempting to level a DK for the billionth time.
Michael Gray (@writegray) This weekend is a thrilling round of Yard-Sale-for-Baby-Stuff and then more Diablo III than you can shake a Magic Missile at.
Olivia Grace (@oliviadgrace) This weekend is four days long for the U.K.; alas, I'm working two of those days, but the other two will be spent boozing in recognition of Queen Elizabeth II's diamond jubilee. I'll most likely fit in some arena and some fire mage PvE, perhaps.
Robin Torres (@cosmicgeek) Diablo, WoW, Scramble with Friends, Diablo.
The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
