This week on the EVE Online
stream, Mike jumped into planetary interaction
: the harvesting of valuable resources from the many planets that fill EVE
's universe. Check out the stream and find out how to get a basic PI colony going and how such facilities can turn into passive ISK generators for you and your corp. Space!
As usual, Mike died a thousand deaths
in this week's Drakensang Online
run-through. He also managed to stomp a few unsuspecting PvP-flagged characters. Sure, ganking is bad, but how can something so wrong feel so right? Tune in and find out.
I had a great time exploring RuneScape
's newest addition, the Runespan. If you have ever tried to gain levels in runecrafting before, you know how tedious it can be. The Runespan was designed to allow players a much easier way to gain levels and to do it all while socializing and basically chilling out. Players are transported to the 'span at the wizard's tower and start to transform blank rune essences into different sorts of runes. They earn experience as they go along and use the runes to gain access to different areas of the map. Once they gain enough experience, they can go to the next level. There is a total of three levels, each one different from the next. In this stream, I show how to gain levels, how to siphon rune essence and different rune types from creatures or nodes, and how to keep an eye out for the yellow wizard! If runecrafting has never been your thing, it will be now. The Runespan actually makes it fun!
Then I jumped into Free Realms
, a game that I love but I have not had as much time for recently. I decided to take a blank lot (a big, open area that players can use for building whatever they want) and built a tree house
. It wasn't easy at first, but the coin shop quickly provided me with everything I needed to get started. By the time the stream ended, I had a walkway built up around the tree and a platform to continue from. Player-made houses and lots are one of the most popular activities in Free Realms
, so definitely check this one out if you like building!
