Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD 'Revert' DLC drops Dec. 4, everyone gets revert ability for free
On December 4, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will add three levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 as premium DLC: Los Angeles, Airport and Canada. Along with these levels, the revert ability from THPS 3 will be included in the 400 MS Point ($4.99) DLC package.
However, the revert was previously localized to those three DLC levels only, and now Activision says all Tony Hawk HD players will receive a free update adding revert to the original levels. So if you want the three additional levels, you can snag them on December 4 for half a sawbuck or you can take the free update and up your high scores on the original lineup pulled from the first two Tony Hawk games. Or you can do both. Really it's entirely up to you.

ACTIVISION RELEASES FRESH INFO ON THE DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT FOR TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER HD
Release Date, Reverts, and ROCK
Activision announced today that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 HD Revert Pack, the downloadable content for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, will be released worldwide on December 4 for Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Steam for $4.99.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 HD Revert Pack expands on the game's winning formula with the inclusion of three levels from the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (Airport, Los Angeles, and Canada). Skateboarding legends Steve Caballero and Geoff Rowley make their return to the world of Tony Hawk games and James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo from Metallica make a surprise appearance as playable characters. The Metallica track "All Nightmare Long" has also been added. But perhaps most importantly for true fans, the Revert move makes it return for mindblowing combos!
There is more good news for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD fans: Activision has confirmed today that a FREE title update will implement the beloved Revert into the original release as well. That's right, players will be able to experience their favorite levels like never before and create combos that fans were only able to dream about. Look for this update to hit the week of the DLC release.
