That's a good question. Essentially, the powers of the black flight used to revolve around shaping the earth, raising mountains, creating valleys, that kind of thing. Over time, as Neltharion abandoned his charge as the Earth-Warder and became Deathwing, his powers changed, and so did those of his flight. They're all about fire and magma now: destructive forces of the earth instead of ones that create.

Since 5.0, I can only see my own rolls and that of whoever wins it. This can be quite annoying at times as I never know if there's a ninja in the group until they're already won something, which sadly happens a lot while leveling. Any way to re-enable the full roll information?

You have a few options. You can reenable full loot info in your settings, you can type /loot, or you can click on the loot text when the window pops up.

I constantly follow GC on twitter and I see he usually replies to the guys from WoWinsider. I just have to say though, why are you asking him questions of little or no use when there are many more important or fun things to ask? Now I'm not asking you guys to start nagging at him like some players do, but I was hoping you could be more constructive with your questions.

P.S I think GC gets a lot of abuse from some players and if that was me, I'd be calling the authorities on some of them.

You can't be all business all the time -- neither GC nor us. The devs read our articles, which is nice, so they know a bunch of us from the site, and we talk sometimes. That's all. GC answers people's questions all the time -- if you have a question for him or think you have a better use for his time, feel free to ask him yourself!

A huge train of murlocs stretching as far as my toon can see in both directions all heading somewhere with crystals or something. What in the world is going on there?

The coastal naga have the murlocs enslaved and performing manual labor for them. There's a questline you can grab there to find out for yourself!
