SOE asks whether your FPS measures up to PlanetSide 2
Can your FPS do this? That's the question of the day as posed by Sony Online Entertainment. It's in reference to the firm's newly released PlanetSide 2 opus, of course, and if the accompanying trailer is any indication, all of the shooters not named PlanetSide or PlanetSide 2 are doomed to answer with an emphatic "no."
The clip is short, but it packs nearly everything that's unique about PS2 into its compact running time. Aerial combat? Check. Infantry and ground vehicle combat? Check. Persistent battles on huge continents and plenty of oh-wow-only-in-PlanetSide moments? Check and check. See the trailer in its entirety after the cut.
