Alpine introduces INE-W927-HD AV and navigation system, Pandora, Sirius and more on a 7-inch touchscreen
Got car, need entertainment. Enter Alpine's INE-W927HD mouthful of a new audio, video and navigation system. The device comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, built-in HD Radio receiver plus Bluetooth. There's also access to the popular Pandora and SiriusXM services, as well as playlist support for iOS and Android audio streaming. Alpine's heritage in this space comes through in the form of an "iPersonalize" system that tunes the sound up based on various factors including vehicle type, number of speakers and even upholstery material. How much for such options? that's $1,200 when it launches sometime this month.

Audio/Video/Navigation system with 7-inch Screen
Alpine's INE-W927HD is a full-featured audio/video/navigation (AVN) system with a 7-inch touchscreen. It has a built-in HD Radio™ receiver and Bluetooth® wireless technology for hands-free calls and audio streaming. Other entertainment options include Pandora® internet radio control and SiriusXM satellite radio compatibility (requires SXV200 tuner and subscription, sold separately). Music libraries from a smartphone can be enjoyed through the INE-W927HD using a USB connection from an iPod® or iPhone®, or through audio streaming from an Andriod phone.
Navigation features include pre-loaded maps of the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; six million Points of Interest (POIs); and 3D depiction of major landmarks, buildings, and terrain details in main metropolitan areas. The INE-W940 also has a direct input for connecting a rear view camera system (camera system sold separately).
Customization features include the "My Favorites" screen which can be designed with up to eight shortcuts for frequently- used audio, navigation and Bluetooth commands. Easy audio system adjustments can be made through the built-in iPersonalize feature, which automatically applies optimal sound field settings to the vehicle based on parameters such as vehicle format, speaker quantity and location, and upholstery type.
