Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 'Siberian Strike' DLC hits XBLA/PSN/PC next week
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2's first injection of single-player DLC will be chambered into North American and European copies of the game this Wednesday, March 27, when "Siberian Strike" goes live on Xbox Live, PSN and Steam for 800 MS Points/$9.99 respectively, or £8.99/€9.99 for those scouting from the other side of the Atlantic.
The DLC pack drops players in a remote Siberia town called Birsovik, and tasks them with completing a mission without help from spotters, meaning that all terrain navigation and target acquisition must be done manually, with maps, which is how cavemen snipers used to do it back in Victorian England.

The Siberian Strike DLC expands upon the single player storyline, taking players to an isolated Siberian location where new open world maps invite players multiple paths for solving the new tactical missions. Shut off from guidance by spotters, players must find their own path through the new location using the map and their elite sniper skills.
Set in the remote abandoned Siberian city of Birsovik, the Russian government established a top secret military installation focused on arms R&D. American intelligence gets word that the facility shifted its focus recently to weapons of mass destruction. A CIA operative, M. Diaz is sent in undercover, posing as lab personnel, to uncover the truth. When he stops sending in reports, a search mission is quickly put together.
The player steps into the boots of Cole "Sandman" Anderson, a veteran special ops sniper, now in the ranks of Task 121 – a group put together to counter any WMD-hungry warlord's whim in the Asia – Pacific region. Anderson is ordered to locate Diaz's GPS signal and assess the situation on the ground, then extract any intelligence he may have found.
