Spring Fever PlayStation Store event details, discounts for PS Plus members
Sony's Spring Fever PlayStation Store event will kick off later today (after the PSN update), with four indie games featuring PS3 and Vita cross-buy functionality, and 20 percent off discounts for PlayStation Plus members.
"PlayStation fans have been vocal about their desire to see more independent games on PSN, and Spring Fever is the perfect opportunity to show what makes PlayStation the premier destination for new and unique experiences from talented developers," said Adam Boyes, VP of Sony American developer and publisher relations.
First up is Guacamelee!, available today for $14.99 (PS Plus price: $11.99). Followed by Dragon Fantasy Book I and Thomas Was Alone over the next couple weeks for $9.99 (PS Plus price: $7.99). Finally, on April 30, Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge seeks brains for $9.99, with PS Plus members receiving the game free as part of the instant game collection.

Sony Computer Entertainment America Embraces Independent Games With Annual Spring Fever PlayStation®Store Event
PlayStation®Network to Feature PlayStastion®3/PlayStation®Vita Cross-Buy Functionality for Upcoming Indie Tiles and Sales on Popular Game Franchises
April 8, 2013 –Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) today announced the game line-up for its annual Spring Fever PlayStation®Store event, which highlights upcoming PlayStation®Network games, including special deals for PlayStation®Plus members, along with sales on some of gaming's most popular franchises. Following a strong showing of independent titles at this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC), the company will continue its support of the indie scene by bringing standout titles releasing in April to the forefront of the PlayStation Store promotion.
This year's Spring Fever promotion on PlayStation Network will feature four indie games for PlayStation®3 (PS3)/PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) launching throughout the month of April, including highly anticipated titles like Guacamelee! and Thomas Was Alone, both of which were featured in SCEA's PlayStation Indie Arcade event during GDC.
Gamers will also be able to take advantage of PlayStation's unique Cross-Buy functionality for all four titles, so they can purchase a title on one platform (PS3 or PS Vita) and receive a download voucher for the other platform at no additional cost.

PlayStation Network's Spring Fever begins April 9 and continues through May 6. Popular video game franchises will also be supported with weekly sales throughout the promotion, offering up to 65% off of games and add-ons for major franchises including the Grand Theft Auto and Resident Evil series.
