Legacy of Kain spinoff Nosgoth unveiled in new trailer, beta registration opens

Square Enix has pulled back the curtain on Nosgoth, a free-to-play online multiplayer action game that takes place in the same universe as Crystal Dynamics' Legacy of Kain series.

In the preview trailer above, the developers at Psyonix explain how Nosgoth's human/vampire conflict gives combat a multifaceted approach, equipping players with an arsenal of varied weaponry. The human alliance focuses on ranged weapons and traps, while vampires can scale buildings and strike from rooftops, balancing out their reliance on melee attacks. Classes within each faction can be further customized with alternate weapon loadouts and abilities.
