PSA: Transport Tycoon out now on iOS, Android

Originally released for DOS systems in the ancient caveman days of 1994, business management sim Transport Tycoon is now available on iOS and Android devices for $6.99, via the App Store/Google Play. The game will open up shop in Amazon's app marketplace "soon," according to the press release.

This rebuild of the original was overseen by creator Chris Sawyer, whose development pedigree also includes the RollerCoaster Tycoon series. In Transport Tycoon, players must grow and manage a business that moves both people and products via land, sea and air, over an infrastructure that the player designs themselves. Well, in our case we don't really "design" railways so much as "ensure that all trains crash eventually," but that's what Tycoon games are all about.
