World Series of Poker: Full House Pro coming to XBLA, Windows 8

Xbox Live just can't get enough poker, apparently, with Microsoft today announcing a free-to-play sequel to Full House Poker. Entitled World Series of Poker: Full House Pro, the new game ups the ante (geddit?) with ESPN announcers Lon McEachern and Norman Chad and the inclusion of real-world casinos.

Players start each day with a free stack of chips, which can be played at single tables or in tournaments. Furthermore, the game will be playable across Xbox 360 and Windows 8, with players able to start a game on one platform and continue on another. World Series of Poker: Full House Pro will launch this spring.

Today, Microsoft unveils two exciting new additions to entertainment on Xbox LIVE. In a first for the platform, we are delighted to bring you the UK film premiere of new British comedy Pulp, coming March 2013. An irreverent indie comedy set in a world where comic book publishing and international crime intersect, Pulp has become a counter-culture phenomenon on the global festival circuit. The premiere marks an innovative move in UK film distribution as Pulp will be instantly available for free to millions of Xbox fans first via the Xbox Video app on Xbox LIVE.

· Synopsis: Infinite Finity. Thunder Racers. Rat Warriors. Junk Comics's library of titles has been referred to as the 'worst material printed since Mein Kampf'. Tony Leary, the nice-guy owner of Junk Comics, is gearing up for one last roll of the dice. His new superhero title, The Sodomizer, launches at the British International Comic Show, and nothing will stop Tony from making it a success. Nothing except a gang of Geordie criminals who are using another comic company to launder their dirty money. Tony is drafted by the police to identify the culprits and bring them to justice. Aided by his trusty geek sidekicks, Rick and Keith, Tony must defy the odds if he is to become a real life hero.
