Super Joystiq Podcast 036 Live: Dead Space 3, Strike Suit Zero, Battleblock Theater beta spot giveaway

Update: The live show is over, but you can still enter to win a Battleblock Theater code by subscribing to the Joystiq YouTube channel and sending us a message on YouTube with your name and email address. Entries will be accepted until Thurday, January 31.

Space may be the final frontier, but it's just the beginning of this week's Super Joystiq Podcast live show. Today, we discuss the merits of mainstream celestial exploration (with a side order of alien gore) in Dead Space 3, and the indie interstellar movement with space action game Strike Suit Zero.

The Behemoth entrusted us with five spots for the Battleblock Theater closed beta, and we're giving them all away to random, qualified audience members, right here and right now. Those interested have to meet the criteria listed below.

The Battleblock Theater closed beta will run some time between February and March of this year. The Behemoth will accept 10,000 players and no more, making this a great opportunity to secure one of these coveted, shiny spots.

If you are eligible for the Battleblock Theater closed beta, subscribe to our YouTube Channel and send us a message on YouTube with your name and e-mail address. Five winners will be randomly selected. (Make sure you meet the criteria!)

To be eligible for the Battleblock Theater closed beta, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. You must own a working Xbox 360 that has a reliable internet connection.

  2. You must have an active Xbox LIVE Gold account.

  3. You must have Internet, an internet browser and a registered The Behemoth Forums account.

  4. You must agree to the Terms and Conditions and Non-Disclosure Agreement from The Behemoth. (This will be a part of the registration form)

  5. You must be willing and able to fulfill the Beta Testing Task List during the Beta testing period.

  6. You must be at least 13 or older. Any applicants under the age of 18 must get prior consent by their parent or guardian and have the parent/guardian review all the Required Reading and help fill out the Registration Form.

What is Joyswag? Since we don't keep the games and merchandise we receive for review or promotional purposes, it becomes "Joyswag," which is passed along to our readers. Please note that Joyswag may be in "used" condition. All winners of Joyswag are selected randomly. Only comments in the podcast post linked above will be entered in the random drawing.
