WRUP: Ahh bees edition

So I found out this week that Bree is afraid of bees.

Ahh! Ahh, bees! Bees, bees, bees! Get away from there! Bees are over there! Lots of bees! Oh, jeez, bees! How many bees are there? There are lots of bees. I'm scared of bees. Don't let the bees get me! Where did these bees come from! Bees to the left, bees to the right, here I am stuck in the middle, which is slowly filling with bees. I specifically would request no bees if there was a place for that. Bees! Ahh!

Bees.

Ahh! WRUP! Wait. Wait, that wasn't scary. It's not scary at all. It's just the weekend plans of the Massively staff compiled in list format just past the break. WRUP cannot swarm, nor will it produce delicious honey and pollinate flowers. WRUP is nothing like bees. So enjoy this week's installment, and thank whatever deity you believe in that you're not here surrounded by bees. I'd almost forgotten about the bees. Ahh!

Beau Hindman, F2P and Mobile Columnist

@Beau_Hindman: I'm going to be switching to Dragon's Call for Rise and Shiny next week. I hope it turns out to be more of an MMO than many of the "MMOs" I've been covering lately. The problem is that they might be referred to as an MMO without actually being that much of an MMO. So far, I think I'm good. I'm also popping back into Star Trek Online after having a chat with Massively's own Terilynn Shull. I'd love to find a roleplay group and join a science expedition. The problem is that it's been so long since I played the game that I'm not sure whether my missing characters were wiped or I am just signing into the wrong account!

Bree Royce, Editor-in-Chief

@nbrianna: Guild Wars 2 for me. I usually loathe dailies, but I rather like GW2's system since the dailies happen while I am playing anyway. I just fell back in love with my Engineer again. She's way more powerful than I remember!

@PsykopigAU: I'll be tearing into more Star Wars: The Old Republic Leveling ain't easy, man! Mainly I will be spending time at my new store working on getting things set up, but there is always time to cram in a bit of an MMO session in between most work!

Eliot Lefebvre, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Eliot_Lefebvre: After half a week of travel, I'll be back at home and relaxing with SWTOR and The Secret World when I'm not being clucked at by my cat. I've also got a redoubled urge to play two games that aren't actually open for players at this point, so that's wonderful.

Jasmine Hruschak, Multimedia Contributor

@irljasmine: This weekend will be all about Guild Wars 2, with a side of World of Warcraft. Getting back into GW2 makes me wonder how I stayed away for so long. My leveling is exceptionally slow due to "look at how pretty this area is!!!11!1! Just 20 more screenshots!" I'm in no rush to hit max level, and that's a pretty great feeling. On the WoW front, I'll be squirreling away Valor for the upcoming patch and covering unsuspecting players in rose petals.

Jef Reahard, Managing Editor and Columnist Extraordinaire

@jefreahard: Skyrim for me. Also dabbling in EverQuest II and SWTOR.

Justin Olivetti, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Sypster: If Lord of the Rings Online ends its one-day-plus downtime here, I'll definitely be jumping back on my Burglar for various shenanigans. I'm also making in-roads into Orr on my completionist Guild Wars 2 character -- and starting to see the hazy outline of the finish line in front of me. That will be a happy day indeed, methinks. And I definitely want to make some time for some The Secret World, if only a single mission or two.

Matt Daniel, Contributing Editor

@mvmatt: This weekend I'll be catching up on some RIFT, since schoolwork has kept me out-of-game for the past week. I'm also hoping to squeeze in The Secret World and take a dip in Warframe's beta weekend, just for giggles. On the non-MMO end of things, I recently spent some time modding the everloving daylights out of Skyrim, so I'll probably grab the new Dragonborn expansion and see what's what.

Mike Foster, Contributing Editor

@MikedotFoster: Firefall! Finally! And Mists of Pandaria Also finally! I'll also be drinking copious amounts of hot chocolate, which I believe enhances my overall skills as a healer.

MJ Guthrie, Columnist Extraordinaire and Contributing Editor

@MJ_Guthrie: Honestly, I want to take it easier this weekend and not try to cram so much gaming in. And I want some sleep! I plan to run a few alts through the Erollisi quests in EverQuest II for some housing items (check out The Tattered Notebook later today for a guide to quick loot!) and getting some spooky time in The Secret World.

Patrick Mackey, League of Legends and Age of Wushu Columnist

@mackeypb: I feel almost like a broken record, but I'm still playing League of Legends,Age of Wushu, and Guild Wars 2. I don't suspect that trend is going to change much. My girlfriend bought me Torchlight 2, so I will play that with her sometime too.

Terilynn Shull, Star Trek Online Columnist

@terilynns: Star Trek Online extended the anniversary event until Monday, so I might jump in and grab a few more goodies from Q. Other than that, I will be in LotRO in the hopes of working with my Runekeeper and getting her scholarly crafting back underway.

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
