The Queue: Kalec was a man

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Or maybe he was a dragon-man. Or maybe he was just a dragon.

Hans-HenrikHagsted asked:

Are there any limits on the amount of virtual Blizzcon tickets they'll sell? I plan on buying virtual access when it is available. Perhaps sometime in the future I'll be able to afford the trip from Denmark to Anaheim, but not this year...

Nope, there's no limit on virtual tickets as far as we're aware. There were over a million people who bought them in 2011.

AleksQamar asked:

Everyone assumes the 7th Sha is the so called "Sha of Pride". however, i do not, nor have seen any indication, clue, or TFH that at least back-ups that statement.

My question, Why you all believe is the Sha of Pride?

It's in the sound files for patch 5.3. Shhh.

lib.feathers asked:

how come Blizzard doesn't do more merchandising? My DC-comic-freak daughter has Batman shirts, DC Comic sox, Justice League backpack, Batman eyeglass case, earrings, etc, etc, etc. All I ever find for WoW is a couple of t-shirts, a hoodie, a hat or two, and a wallet. Why no Garrosh bobble heads? No Anduin bandaids? No Thisalee Crow manicure sets, complete with dagger? Why can't I do my homework in a Horde spiral or wear temporary Kirin Tor tattoos?

WoW may have a lot of fans worldwide, but strictly speaking, its fanbase is dwarfed by the fanbase for many other popular media franchises. Blizzard could easily go into merchandising overload -- one might argue that they already did for a while -- but there's just no guarantee that people will buy that stuff. Shirts and accessories are a sure bet. Other things aren't. Blizzard is acutely aware of that.

cync01 asked:

Any chance Blizz will just make flawless battle stones unbound? I know theyre becoming BoA at least, and its easy enough to crate and trade pets to use the stones, but im done with a few families already and getting more and more spare stones, every time i try to sell one i get 10 people telling me "LOL u tard noob, they BoP!!!"...

I don't believe Blizzard has mentioned anything about making them unbound, but I heard rumblings of them becoming BoA soon in the latest dev chat.

Ianerz asked:

What's with the desire to see Jaina get corrupted by the sha? She might be motivated by revenge, but from the last storyline it is clear she's level-headed enough to stay her hand and keep her allies in check.

I'm not sure what the deal is with everyone wanting Jaina to be evil or corrupted. Maybe it's a response to Garrosh being overtly bad, or maybe people just think that someone who makes a few rash decisions is corrupted. This is Warcraft, after all. Those people wouldn't necessarily be wrong, historically.
