WRUP: Visiting the Department of Inevitable Arguments edition

Leave a note saying you registered with the department about whose car was parked where and why it was necessary to ram the other car off the road.
The Department of Inevitable Arguments is there when life happens, you know it's going to happen, and more than anything you just want it to get on with the happening so you can go to lunch. Filing at the department saves time and reduces stress for all participants. Do you know you'll disagree with your friends about a movie or game? Did you eat the last doughnut like a jerk when someone else wanted that doughnut? Put in for the argument in advance and avoid the hassle of having an argument crop up in the middle of an otherwise uneventful evening of amateur machete fights.

All of our writers have already filed their gaming choices for your potential objection, but if you want to be sure about whether or not you object to what they play, just check out this week's WRUP. It tells you exactly what the staff is playing this week so you can argue about it in the comments. Or you can let us know what you'll be playing in the comments, same difference.

@nbrianna: I'll be in Guild Wars 2 again. My guildies are on a roll with the weekend dungeoning; there's no way I'm about to miss that. I'll also be in Allods Online for Matt's latest roundtable. GO GIBBERLINGS!

David Desi, Multimedia Contributor
@PsykopigAU: I'm finding my way again though The Secret World and rediscovering what made the game so brilliant to begin with. I'm also throwing in some Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon into the mix. I can't get enough of that sweet 80s style swagger it has!

After some long hours at my store during Memorial Day Weekend, I'll be playing a lot of Darkfall this weekend! I also plan to throw some StarCraft 2 in the mix as well. There have been some amazing pro matches this week and that has inspired me quite a bit to work on my Protoss 1v1.

Eliot Lefebvre, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor
@Eliot_Lefebvre: Allods Online is my roundtable target this weekend thanks to Matt, but otherwise I'll still be plowing away at Star Wars: The Old Republic. And plinking away at an unnamed beta. (No, it's not the beta you're probably thinking.)

Justin Olivetti, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor
@Sypster: I've been sampling the waters of Star Trek Online: Legacy of Romulus and finding it very welcome indeed. I love the new UI changes in particular! No huge weekend plans aside from that, other than puttering around in Guild Wars 2 with my new Ranger and figuring out if the Guardian Fighter is truly for me in Neverwinter.

Mike Foster, Contributing Editor
@MikedotFoster: Dota 2, all day and all night. I may tag in for some Defiance along the way. Oh, and Injustice: Gods Among Us is the current "hang out and eat unhealthy food" game of choice among my friends, so I may throw some Batman punches as well.

MJ Guthrie, Columnist Extraordinaire and Contributing Editor
@MJ_Guthrie: Although I have so much to do in so many games, I think this weekend will be devoted pretty much to the adventures that readers voted for in Darkfall. While there's no possible way to see everything in the short course of a Choose My Adventure series, there is still plenty of fun (and deaths) to be had. And my clan is making sure I get heaping servings of both!

Shawn Schuster, Senior Editor
@Epykbeard: I'm back in Wurm Online for an upcoming Second Wind article, and I'm addicted all over again. There only two games that have ever haunted my dreams: Wurm Online and Minecraft. They're both developed (or co-developed) by the same guy. Notch stole my soul!

Terilynn Shull, Star Trek Online Columnist
@terilynns: I'll be trying to jump into Star Trek Online and weather the long queues for the new expansion material. I also really need to give all of my characters in Lord of the Rings Online a work-out. Thank goodness it's a 3-day weekend!

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
