HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character hits PS Vita in Europe

Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims developer Dakko Dakko announced that its two-button action-puzzler, The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character, will premiere as a downloadable PS Vita game in Europe tomorrow, May 29.

Originally released for the PlayStation minis service back in 2011, Rotating Octopus Character makes the jump to Vita with updated graphics, online leaderboards, and PSN trophy support. The game features over 70 overhead-view levels in which the titular octopus must circumnavigate a series of obstacles as it searches for its missing kids. It's also worth noting that the starring octopus is versed in the lost art of skitching, judging from the 24-second mark in the trailer above.

A North American release date has not been announced, but Dakko Dakko notes that a U.S. version is "coming soon."
