Endless Space adds 'Disharmony' this summer

Ampltude Studios' Endless Space has been quite generous with free add-ons, having done four since the 4X space strategy game launched last July. The game's first official expansion will warp into digital and retail space this summer for $10.

Dubbed Disharmony, the expansion adds a new faction ("The Harmony"), mixes in fighters and bombers to the capital ship warfare, adds new targeting and redesigned weapon systems, and introduces "enhanced invasion mechanics." The game's AI is also receiving an upgrade.

Endless Space has received a lot of love from Amplitude and has shown consistent improvement over the past year. The game has sold over 300,000 copies.
