WRUP: A public service announcement for the Saints Rowless edition

You've got two months to get this stuff together, people.

If you have somehow still not found the opportunity to play Saint's Row the Third up until now, you now literally have no excuse. The game is playable for free this weekend on Steam, and you can also purchase the game at an extremely steep discount. But this shouldn't be necessary, because everyone should already own a copy of this game.

I realize this may be seen as overenthusiastic praise, but please believe me when I say that I consider my own lack of interest in the title at launch a tremendous mistake on my part. If you think "it's just a sandbox Grand Theft Auto clone" and write it off, you are depriving yourself of something truly wonderful. Download and install it, you have nothing to lose.

So we now know what you're playing for the weekend, but what are we playing? Check that out in WRUP just past the cut. And then let us know what else you'll be up to in the comments.

Bree Royce, Editor-in-Chief

@nbrianna: Guild Wars 2 some, for sure. I've also got Marvel Heroes downloaded, a return-to-World of Warcraft-free invite in my inbox, and a reason to think Champions Online might be worth the time again. It's a good weekend.

Eliot Lefebvre, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Eliot_Lefebvre: I've got some personal stuff to take care of this weekend, but I'm looking forward to doing some roleplaying in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Also want to play around with some of the many tactical RPGs loaded onto my PSP.

Jasmine Hruschak, Multimedia Contributor

@irljasmine: I've got 99 problems but a RIFT ain't one. Trion let everyone who's purchased RIFT start playing free a bit early, so I hopped into Telara faster than you can say "wait, what do all these buttons do again". It's felt all sorts of good being back and I'm looking forward to a long weekend of rogue leveling.

Jef Reahard, Managing Editor and Columnist Extraordinaire

@jefreahard: I'll be cussing at World of Warplanes and herding my SWTOR alts toward 55.

Justin Olivetti, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Sypster: If I can actually get Marvel Heroes to launch -- and considering the frustrations of this past week, that might be a long shot -- I'll be giving this Diablo clone an honest go. Otherwise, I've got a brand-new Dragon character to take into Kingsmouth in The Secret World. Hope she doesn't get zombified!

Mike Foster, Contributing Editor

@MikedotFoster: I'm in Dota 2 again this weekend, along with doing some research on whatever game ends up winning my Choose My Adventure poll. If there's time, I'd also like to check out some of EVE Online's new exploration features.

Richie Procopio, Multimedia Contributor

@RichieProcopio: In addition to my normal dose of Guild Wars 2 action, this weekend I will also be playing some Minecraft. I'm a bit late to the tree-punching party, but my kids and I have recently started playing together. They steal all the good things that I find despite my apparently-not-so-clever hiding places, but it's all good because I can send them to bed and then keep playing!

Terilynn Shull, Star Trek Online Columnist

@terilynns: I have a whole lot of levelin' to do! I have a Romulan and a Reman to move through the new content in Star Trek Online and I will likely start a new Klingon character tomorrow! And after a year of playing Lord of the Rings Online, my main character finally made it to level 70 (Yes, still not at level cap!) and I intend to have her to cap before the end of the summer! Being an altoholic is a time-consuming love, but I can say I have never had more fun playing MMOs than I have in the past month. There's so much to do!

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
