Kickstarter open to Canada on September 9
Canadian developers can finally fund their indie projects beyond investors and Tim Hortons-based Ponzi schemes. Yes, crowdfunding site Kickstarter becomes available in the region on September 9.
The platform will hold events on August 8 and 9 in Toronto, along with more in Montreal on August 12 and 13. We imagine most of the education will be polite affirmation that Canadians no longer need to set up American shell companies to use Kickstarter anymore.
Canadians can begin building their projects now ... legally.
