The Queue Patch 54 day one, legendary cloak rate, mage deck, D3 on the PS3

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

I read this review of Pokemon X & Y over at Polygon, and I am now excited to try that.

I also turn 30 tomorrow.

I wish 14 year old me would have known 30 year old me would still take the games out for a spin now and then. I would have saved them all.

NathanO asked:

Ok, so I log online to WoW on Sept 10, how do I get started in the content? Should I go to Timeless isle? Ogrimmar? Vale? Stormwind? My friend's girlfriend's uncle's house?

If you're in a guild, hit up your guild for the sweet first Orgrimmar run. After that, head out to the Timeless isle. That's what my progression for the evening will be. I'll also be logging into some alts that I've stockpiled Valor and JP on to abuse the hell out of the point changes.

Steve asked:

Is there any way to know how many characters have completed the (currently) last step in the legendary Wrathion series?

I get the feeling some of the wow community views the whole affair as "welfare legendary" that "everyone" will get...

Just wondering about actual numbers of players that have actually stuck it out...

When people start to complete it, I imagine that achievement sties will be able to crawl the achievements of characters and give some stats on the number of people who have completed it. It'll be very interesting to see who has.

And as for this business of it being a welfare legendary... the entire thing has taken the majority of folks an entire year to complete. That doesn't seem like a welfare system to me. People need to calm the heck down and just enjoy this game.

DaqQuingDragon asked:

Based on the few Hearthstone vids I've watched, the mage deck looks pretty OP. Blizz needs to do a mix of buffing other decks and nerfing the mage deck.

I don't think the mage deck is really over powered; it's just relatively easy to play and the first deck people get when walking through the tutorial. That means that a lot of people are going to stick with it and use it. The same thing happens with the non-hard core crowd of Magic the Gathering -- the first deck you get on the iPad / Steam / Console games is the red deck, and a lot of people stick with that through those games and out into the actual card game.

Now before everyone jumps on me, I'm not saying that the mage deck or a red deck is by any means bad and can't be played at a pro level. It certainly can be. I'm just saying that both those are a class "easy to learn, difficult to master" scenario, which Blizzard (and Wizards of the Coast) is an expert at creating.

Dashric asked:

With the Release video of Reaper of Souls, I was wondering since my boyfriend and I were Year Pass subs we got Diablo 3 for free, how will this work for getting it on to our PS3? will we have to pay for the game or will blizzard allow us to Download it for free?

The console versions of Diablo 3 are entirely separate entities, so you'll need to pay for them. You'll also need to pay for the expansion, whenever that comes out (unless Blizzard offers another annual pass, which I wouldn't be entirely surprised if that happens).
