WRUP: Finally home edition

So leave that click in my head - I will remember the words that you said. Left a clouded mind and a heavy heart, but I was sure we could see a new start.

I've been writing about Final Fantasy XIV since before it launched. I've been playing the game since it did launch. I've weathered the changes, figured things out, roleplayed, laughed, loved, and lost. And I've spent the past nine months waiting for my game to come back, looking to the future, trying to be patient, enjoying the test weekends as best I could while still wanting to have the game back for good.

This morning, that wait ends. You can't go home again, but you can move to a new home.

So absolutely no one needs to read what my WRUP entry this week looks like. For the rest of the Massively crew, there's more variation, so you can check past the break for all of those plans. Oh, and you can let us know what you'll be up to down in the comments, whether it's as transparent as my own weekend plans or not.

Beau Hindman, F2P and Mobile Columnist

@Beau_Hindman: I have a ton of new mobile MMOs to look at this weekend, but I am also attempting to work through the superbly unfriendly world of Kerbal Space Program. I wish indie devs would just sit down with a new player to see how they enjoy the games once in a while. I'm also going to be working through several browser-based games like City of Steam. There's a ton to do!

Bree Royce, Editor-in-Chief

@nbrianna: Got Guild Wars 2 running on a laptop, so I'm set, as long as I ignore the events and stick to the regular game!

David Desi, Multimedia Contributor

@PsykopigAU: I am still working through my Humble Bundle games; plenty of Dead Space to go! That will likely keep me busy most of the weekend, but I will probably squeeze a bit of GW2 in where I can.

Eliot Lefebvre, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Eliot_Lefebvre: Did you even look at the introduction?

Jef Reahard, Managing Editor and Columnist Extraordinaire

@jefreahard: Saints Row IV, ladies and gents.

Justin Olivetti, Columnist Extraordinaire and Senior Contributing Editor

@Sypster: This weekend I'd love to put time into two games: Guild Wars 2 and RIFT. The new invasions in GW2 are (thus far) a great amount of world-stomping fun and have filled my bags to the brim with sweet, sweet loot. But I've also been neglecting RIFT and really need to catch up to Jasmine with her oh-so-cool level 60.

Patrick Mackey, League of Legends and Age of Wushu Columnist

@mackeypb: Skullgirls. Lots of Skullgirls. I am not especially good at the game, but it doesn't matter. It's super fun.

Richie Procopio, Multimedia Contributor

@RichieProcopio: I know I sound like a broken record, but this weekend I'll be playing Guild Wars 2 and going for the Clockwork Chaos achievements. It's tough to escape Tyria with the constant updates and new things to see!

Terilynn Shull, Star Trek Online Columnist

@terilynns: Another record that has skipped a groove here! Star Trek Online will be my focus for bit as is the normal, but I have to admit I'll be leveling my new Minstrel in Lord of the Rings Online thanks to the double XP Welcome Back Weekend. I'd like to get him to Annuminas by Monday.

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
