Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara hits Wii U this week
Chronicles of Mystara rolls onto the Wii U as part of this week's eShop update on Thursday, September 5. Capcom's compilation of 90s D&D games Tower of Doom and Shadow Over Mystara was delayed into September, but thankfully it hasn't ventured too deep into the month's catacombs. That said, Europe has to wait until next week, on September 12.
Among other updates, like a new challenge system and being able to mess around with "house rules," Chronicles of Mystara features drop-in/drop-out online multiplayer and online leaderboards. The game is already out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, but the Wii U edition does add GamePad integration such as item management via the touchscreen. Capcom has yet to make mention of off-TV play one way or the other.
