CBS Sports will stream Alabama vs. Aggies on its website, mobile apps

When Alabama takes on Texas A&M in college football this afternoon, CBS will have more to offer than just a dedicated "Johnny Cam" following the Heisman winner all day (no, it will not be giving away autographed memorabilia). CBS plans to stream every SEC "Game of the Week" (most are TBD right now, check the schedule after the break) it broadcasts, and this one is up first. That means fans can watch on CBSSports.com or via its iOS mobile app (update: Android too). As an added bonus for fans, just like its Super Bowl live stream and in the NFL's Game Rewind service, there's an All-22 "eye in the sky" angle available as an alternative to the broadcast feed. Shot from a high view over the 50 yard line to show ever player on the field, it lets fans who dig the Xs and Os watch the way coaches do when they break down game film. Internet viewers will have the alternate camera angle plus live stats, Twitter integration, polls and on-demand video clips.

CBS Sports' SEC "Game of the Week" Kicks Off with Alabama vs. Texas A&M on Saturday, September 14

September 9, 2013 – For the first time, CBS Sports' live stream of the SEC "Game of the Week" on CBSSports.com will feature multiple camera angles to complement game broadcasts, allowing fans to see a full-field view of the action in addition to the main camera view. CBS Sports, the exclusive national over-the-air broadcaster of Southeastern Conference home football games, will stream its entire 2013 SEC ON CBS schedule exclusively on CBSSports.com (CBSSports.com/SECLive) and on the CBS Sports mobile app for iPhone and iPad, beginning with the much anticipated rematch between Alabama and Texas A&M on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The All-22 camera angle, which will be available along with the main camera angle during live streaming coverage of every SEC ON CBS football game, provides a high view from the 50 yard line showing all players on the field. Used in the broadcast as a telestrator feature to break down plays, the live All-22 angle is ideal for fans who want to study formations and get a coach's perspective on each play. The All-22 camera angle was first offered live on CBSSports.com during CBS Sports' broadcast of Super Bowl XLVII in February.

"For every SEC on CBS broadcast this season, including what may be the biggest college football game of 2013, fans will be able to see the game action like never before," said Jeffrey Gerttula, General Manager of CBSSports.com. "The live All-22 camera angle was extremely popular with viewers of our record-breaking Super Bowl live stream, and we're excited to now offer college football fans the ultimate second-screen experience."

Viewers will have the ability to switch back and forth between the game simulcast and the All-22 camera angle, and will also have access to live team and player statistics, Twitter integration, interactive elements including polling and highlights and additional on-demand video.

SEC Live each week also will include a 30-minute pregame show, a 15-minute halftime show, and a 30-minute original 5th Quarter postgame featuring analysis from CBS Sports' lead college football analyst Gary Danielson.

The SEC ON CBS schedule features a total of 16 games during the network's 13-week season, including two doubleheaders and the SEC Championship on Saturday, Dec. 7 (4:00 PM, ET).

In addition to the SEC, CBS Sports also broadcasts Air Force at Navy for the third consecutive year on Saturday, Oct. 5 (11:30 AM, ET), the annual Army-Navy game on Saturday, Dec. 14 (3:00 PM, ET) and the 79th Sun Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 31 (2:00 PM, ET).
