Next week we've got the Xbox One, so it's going to be another roller coaster week of coverage. Wheeeeeee!

What's everyone playing this weekend?


  • Alexander Sliwinski (@Sliwinski, Twitch): Assassin's Creed 4, Battlefield 4, Resogun and whatever I want because the next gen is here!

  • Danny Cowan (@db_cowan, Twitch): Resogun. Contrast. Super Motherload. I think that covers it. It feels weird to get a console at launch without buying any disc-based games along with it, but nothing really interests me on the retail side.

  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle, Twitch): The majority of my weekend will be spent wishing I had a PS4.

  • Earnest Cavalli (@Ecavalli, Twitch): I've got a PlayStation 4, on which I will be playing Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed 4. I only just now noticed the theme here.

  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): Ahem, I'll try this again: "Not a PS4. Bah." High five, Sinan!

  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK, Twitch): I'll be hurtling through Need for Speed: Rivals and the ultra-glossy Resogun on a regular basis.

  • Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek, Twitch): I plan to play a system that will always surpass the term "next-gen" in my heart: The Dreamcast. Just kidding, Madden 25 and NBA Live 14 on PS4 all weekend long.

  • Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM, Twitch): I just might play some Assassin's Creed 4 on my Vita using PS4 remote play. It's an awesome feature. But honestly, I think I'm going to not play video games and instead play a board game with my friends. Let's hope Betrayal at House on the Hill is as fun as it looks.

  • Sinan Kubba (@SinanKubba): Not a PS4. Bah. (Ed. note: Because he lives in the Europe lands.)

  • Sam Prell (@SamPrell, Twitch): Resogun and anything else that's free on PS4 - this includes Netflix.

  • Steven Wong: Although I won't be getting any new toys, I will be playing XCOM: Enemy Within.

  • Susan Arendt (@SusanArendt, Twitch): Tearaway, which is full of more papercraft adorableness per pixel than any other game in the history of mankind. Scientifically proven fact. Also, I shall finally play Flower.

  • Thomas Schulenberg (@T_Schulenberg, Twitch): If my PS4 arrives in time, I'll spend the weekend sailing the seas of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and blasting voxels in Resogun. Unfortunately, Hodgkins, IL has my PS4 at the time of this writing. Hodgkins, Suszek is the one that cares about the Packers. Stop punishing me for sports grudges and give me my console!
