While most Americans are doing their patriotic duty on Independence Day, setting off small explosions and slathering meat stuffs in copious gobs of ketchup, speedrunner BubblesDelFuego is celebrating his liberation of Fallout 3's speedrunning record. Bubbles was gunning for the world record at the end of June, but found his sub-24 minute run beaten by Ranarith just a few hours after posting his time. Not one to be deterred, Bubbles set a new record of 23:11 on Tuesday, beating Ranarith by just two seconds. Crack a Nuka-Cola, Bubbles, and enjoy the fireworks.
