WRUP: Anybody going back to WoW?

Yes, that's exactly what it means.

Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game in which we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you tell us how World of Warcraft has gone at least eighteen years since a content release... wait, what's that? There's one coming next week? Dammit. Does this mean we go back to poking fun at Blizzard's orc obsession?

Anatoli Ingram, Columnist

@ceruleangrey: I'm going to be doing the usual Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy XIV thing, with an extra emphasis on FFXIV because I almost have a job at level cap, finally. Once I have White Mage maxed out and all of my grand company promotions done, I can get back to the things I really play this game for: crafting and gathering.

A wonderful friend made me a gift of Taimi's electro dyes in GW2, so I'll be doing nothing but playing with neon crayons on all of my characters. It's hard for me to properly express how much I love those dyes, so put on some shades to protect your eyes from any obnoxiously electric article screenshots in the near future.

@nbrianna/blog: Same as last week for me. Diablo III and Guild Wars 2 are staring back at me. ArcheAge is waiting patiently!

Eliot Lefebvre, Contributing Editor

@Eliot_Lefebvre/blog: I've got one last bit of leveling to do in Star Trek Online, there's some pre-patch stuff to do in Final Fantasy XIV, and in all likelihood I'll be tooling around to finish the last bit of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. I've also got a trip to prepare for next week, although it won't be for FFXIV's fanfest; it's the one-year anniversary of my wedding, so we're taking a little trip to celebrate.

@jefreahard: Playing some Star Wars: The Old Republic, though grudgingly because I'd rather be playing (more) ArcheAge. Unfortunately BioWare did a really smart thing and sold me the ability to skip its boring level grind and instead enjoy the only reason I purchased this MMO-that-shouldn't-be-an-MMO in the first place: Star Wars stories. Oh, and the early December expiration on the offer was an especially devious touch -- well done!

@Sypster/blog: That's pretty easy for me: It's going to be near-100% The Secret World, as it's hosting a double-AP weekend on top of a few other fun events. Although both RIFT and Star Trek Online are also doing bonus boosts, and then there's this Star Warsy expansion thing I've been hearing about...

No! No, Justin, you need to focus. Let's kill Filth and Draug this weekend and be satisfied with that.

Mike Foster, Contributing Editor

@MikedotFoster/blog: I'm playing a bit of SWTOR, though I really hate the combat system (any game where it takes more than one lightsaber hit to kill someone is WRONG). Still, I love Star Wars, and I'm sticking it out to see the story unfold. I may switch over to Dota depending on time, dog, and weather.

MJ Guthrie, Contributing Editor

@MJ_Guthrie/blog: I am going to brave life without my laptop for AN ENTIRE DAY this weekend as I head out of town. However, I will try to make up for it by diving headfirst into the end of The Secret World's Golden Weekend while possibly simultaneously farming in ArcheAge on my second PC. Hmm... maybe I should also fire the laptop up and do some Star Wars: The Old Republic story missions while that 12x XP clock is ticking. Not to mention I can run multiple games on all three of those computers... naaaahhh, I think three at a time should be plenty. This weekend, anyway.

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
