WRUP: Stock gamer

I entered "video game player" into a stock photo site and this is what I got. Look at those two. They seem so happy. Especially the excitable blond, who is... holding his controller, um, quite oddly. Are they playing on a PS2?!

• Anthony John Agnello (@AJohnAgnello): I'm pretty sure that if I don't play more Super Smash Bros. for Wii U my Amiibo will beat me up, so a whole lot of that. Mario Kart 8 DLC to cleanse the palette, then a little hot fudge Little Big Planet 3. Actually, I might make a level about trying to scale a mountain-sized hot fudge sundae.

• Danny Cowan (@db_cowan, Twitch): The Miku has landed. Repeat: we have Miku.

• Earnest Cavalli (Twitch): I'll be spending my weekend in the tall grass, trying to figure out where the Charmanders are hiding in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

• Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK, Twitch): A weekend should be enough to master the new Mario Kart 8 tracks - but where to begin? Hyrule Cup or Ann Cup?

• Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM, Twitch): Bayonetta 2 is exactly the kind of over-the-top, nothing but fun game I needed. When I'm not doing that, some more Alien: Isolation. In the dark, I hope.

• Sinan Kubba (@SinanKubba, Twitch): Finally, after 54 years of hide-and-seeking, I finished Alien Isolation this week. So now I can start on Shadow of Mordor.

• Sam Prell (@SamPrell, Twitch): I shall charge forth into Draenor to save Azeroth from the Iron Horde. FOR THE ALLIANCE!

• Susan Arendt (@SusanArendt, Twitch): I am gonna Inquisit so much this weekend. "You- DRAGON! What were you doing on the night of the 13th? ANSWER ME!"

• Thomas Schulenberg (@T_Schulenberg, Twitch): Lots of Super Smash Bros., Fantasia, Fibbage and "let's live off of pizza rolls" with my friends. The last one never goes well.
