WRUP: Playing those level 100 blues

So Warlords of Draenor has been out for a week, which means many of us have started to hit level 100 and gear up for the end-game grind. Or have we? Tis the season for new game releases, and console titles like Dragon Age: Inquisition have a strong draw for WoW Insider's RPG-loving crew. But there's still plenty to do in Draenor, plus the 10th anniversary content is just getting fired up. So what's a gamer to do?

Spoiler alert: we're still (mostly) playing WoW. But to see what exactly the team is getting into in WoW (and otherwise), as well as letting us know what you're playing this weekend, read on!

Adam Koebel (@BendakWoW) Yes, I got Dragon Age but I've had hardly any time to play it so far. The release date was pretty awful timing. But what I've seen so far I like. It's like a cross between Dragon Age: Origins and Skyrim. As for Warlords, I am looking forward to the anniversary stuff and Highmaul. I have my main at 100, then another toon at 93 and another at 91. Those other two are basically garrison profession bots for the time being, but it will be nice when I eventually get around to leveling them because they'll have thousands of garrison resources and full rested XP.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I have one 100 down -- got there with my rogue earlier this week. The shaman is next on the list, although I've been quietly collecting rested XP with her so it'll take a little less time. That said, the end game at level 100 has been running dungeons at the moment, and I have yet to find one that I don't care for. I'm really excited about getting into the anniversary content, though.

Dan O'Halloran (@danoh) I'm still questing through Draenor with my monk who is 95 now. I'm taking my time and doing all the quests and bonus objectives in each zone. Blizzard did a great job with the content and I'm in no rush to get to 100. I'm taking particular pleasure in tracking down the elites in every zone. I love that you can help someone else defeat an elite and you both get the drop. Other than that, I'm obsessed with my Garrison and have even taken up fishing for the first time since the game launched. Oh Blizzard, how you have me in your clutches but good this time.

Dawn Moore (@dawnwow) Expansion has only been out a week so WoW is the only game for me for the next two months (not including the occasional PvZ2 or Hearthstone game before bed). I've got two 95s and intend to have them both to 100 before the end of the lock out. Have to get geared for raid!

Elizabeth Harper (@faience) I've hit level 100 on my monk, so now it's time to work on collecting alllllllll the resources to upgrade the garrison to level 3 and figuring out what's next! And maybe checking out Dragon Age. The lure of Bioware is strong!

Elizabeth Wachowski (@leeatwaterlives) My brand new gaming laptop is being RMA'd for a power cord issue, so no Warlords for me. I started up a Qunari mage in Dragon Age, but have only played a few hours so far due to work. I plan on spending more time with that this weekend, and maybe a little Diablo on the PS4.

Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) I have Inquisition and I've played it, but I'm a little turned off by all the changes from DA2. I know, it's popular to beat on DA2, but the story was excellent, the combat mechanics were fluid and easy to master, and in general I had a blast playing it. So I'm a little upset that so much of the baby was tossed out with the bathwater. I agree that the caves were repetitive, but overall, taking the DLC into account DA2 was a really good game. So I've been less than impressed with its successor's attempt to Skyrim what didn't need to be Skyrim'd. Yes, I just used Skyrim as a verb. But I'll play it more, and it may be that I'll come to love it. I am absolutely still playing WoW. Garrison Campaigns are neat.

Sarah Pine (@ilaniel) I have two weeks left of class this quarter and I'm flat out finishing up projects and assignments, but I managed to get my main to level 93 over the weekend and I'm having a ton of fun. I enjoyed the end of Shadowmoon Valley that I never got to see in the beta because it was always bugged, and conquering Gorgrond is next on my list. It's a good time!

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play

World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
