WRUP: Reviews

OK, we're pretty much at the end of the road for reviews in 2014. There's more than enough to play at this point. Like, way more than enough. Now we get down to the game of the year conversations.

What's everyone playing this weekend?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@Sliwinski, Twitch): Second playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

  • Anthony John Agnello (@AJohnAgnello): As I'm wont to do, I created a stunningly accurate recreation of my wife in Dragon Age: Inquisition. My real wife and I will likely be following her mage-ly exploits around there. I certainly don't like the way she's been looking at Varic. In real and Dragon Age life.

  • Danny Cowan (@db_cowan, Twitch): Captain Toad, reporting for duty! Time for adventure!

  • Earnest Cavalli (Twitch): I'll probably be spending the weekend with Far Cry 4. I've got lots of other stuff to play all of a sudden, but no other games that allow me to weaponize tigers.

  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt, Twitch): Never Alone. I will play it ... alone.

  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK, Twitch): I'd love to get back into Sunset Overdrive, but it feels stupid not to play Dragon Age: Inquisition...

  • Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek, Twitch): WWE 2K15 and Super Smash Bros on Wii U. Because I like punching.

  • Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM, Twitch): Smash Bros for Wii U, Bayonetta 2 and maaaaaaaybe Persona 4 for some reason? Probably not.

  • Sinan Kubba (@SinanKubba, Twitch): I'll be burninating all the peasants in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

  • Sam Prell (@SamPrell, Twitch): Three words: FINISH THE FIGHT. AGAIN. Okay, so that was four. Whatever.

  • Susan Arendt (@SusanArendt, Twitch): I have not yet Inquisited all the Dragons, so that is what I shall be doing.

  • Thomas Schulenberg (@T_Schulenberg, Twitch): I'm taking a Smash break to do a few laps around Mario Kart 8's DLC. Prooobly gonna cause some trouble in the re-worked version of Grand Theft Auto 5, too.

  • Xav de Matos (@Xav, Twitch): Far Cry 4 is my PC pick this weekend. My 'Off the Grid' pick is Freedom: The Underground Railroad, a fantastic co-op tabletop game about the brave men and women that helped free slaves to the north.
