One Shots: Female fashion show

firefall

Every once in a while I issue a screenshot challenge that lights a fire under the community here, and my call to show off female armor that wasn't chainmail bikinis did exactly that. So today we're going to have a fashion show, starting with Ralph the Wonder Llama!

"If battleframes were cars, I think recon battleframes would be the hot little sports coupes of the Firefall universe," Mr. Llama writes. "Here my ARES pilot shows off the sleek, bold lines of the Raptor battleframe as she gazes down upon Sunken Harbor. It gets good gas mileage too: sporty, fun to drive, and economical!"

Yeah... so I like pink. It's a cool color, and I don't think it should just belong to girls, don't you agree? Women, in exchange you can use the color blue as often as you like. Tell the Crayola people that I said it was OK.

BalsBigBrother loves pink too and features it in this Guild Wars 2 get-up: "You asked for non-bikini armour shots, so I thought I would send you a picture of my favourite dog-walking armour. Sometimes you wake up and you know it's just going to be a pink day, so you have to put on the perfect outfit to suit the occasion even if all you are doing is being a responsible Ranger taking her dog out for a walk."

I'm going to put aside my long-running hatred for Rogues (the cowardly backstabbers that they are) for the moment because Reader Tyler has this great outfit that does deserve a share. If only you could look that good doing noble and upright activities! Imagine!

"Since I play a lot female characters in MMOs and have a pretty active dislike for lingerie masquerading as armour, I had to respond to your screenshot challenge for this week," Tyler writes. "There are a lot of shots I could send in, but I settled on this one of my rogue from World of Warcraft. This look is cobbled together from a lot of different sources, but it's mainly based on the Tier 9 set for Alliance rogues, VanCleef's Battlegear."

Our last entry to strut down our virtual walkway is Reader Chiara with this smashing ensemble. Enjoy!

"This is an old screenie, but the level-60 armor sets from Vindictus remain some of my absolute favourites. I usually mix and match my outfits, but I left this untouched," she says.

My screenshot challenge of the week is to take a picture of your favorite in-game pet, combat or vanity, and to tell me your history with that pet and why you like it so much!
